Dont even waist your time! Drove in for a part and they told me that they were too busy and told me to go to the dealership. What a waist of time and the drive. Never dealing with them again.

I drove 500 miles to pick-up an engine. After arriving they informed me that they do not accept checks. I called 4 times prior and they never mentioned anything about not accepting checks. They asked why I do not have a credit card and stated that Mcdonalds does not accept checks. They were rude as hell and cared little that I drove that far. I could see 1st hand the illegal non English speaking employees. I have fil... view moreed suit and will make damn sure they are brought to justice for the Chop Shop mentality and illegal on-goings. I have several businesses and understand the laws associated. This is my personal mission.

"Doesn`t Recommend".... that`s...
"Doesn`t Recommend".... that`s a bit of the understatement and doesn`t completely reflect my experiences at that place or convey my feelings toward this "operation" (one cannot possibly call it a business). Basically, my experience had been a duplicate of that "deenoree" (from his review on Citysearch .... please check reviews there also - not a single positive one) had at this place. Th... view moree part "magically" increased in price from the phone quote to the time I got there. The place looks the same as etcengineer (again, Citysearch) described, this being well over a year earlier, and that in itself may even be OK if that`s the way they want it, it just doesn`t say anything good about their respect for the customer. What is however not OK is to gouge your customers based of the fact that they have spend their time and money to get there and are not likely to want to go back emptyhanded. This "operation" appears to prey on the desperate and/or broke so if you are one of them stay away or you will get hurt. Everybody else, you`ll still be better off taking your business elsewhere. An example of gouging at North Imports Auto Parts: today they advertise coolant (the one they drain from junkers) for $5/gal ... also today (Dec 8, 2012) @ Menards the same thing is $3.97, new Peak coolant in sealed container, source: their printed weekend ad. A word of advice for North Imports Auto Parts ... you may think you have us, your customers, over the proverbial barrel, but we`ll vote with our feet and stop coming. Go ahead and indulge on that overpriced coolant of yours ... cheers!

Tricky business
I was quoted for a $1,200 used engine assy but they billed me for $1,300. Tony (the owner) explained the extra $100 was the engine core deposit, I would get $100 back after the engine core was returned. The core has later been returned but they refused to refund the $100 core deposit. They said the reciept indicated no core charge so no core credit were being refunded. I also filed a complaint with BBB.

run away
I called this place for a radio for my Nissan thinking hey I have been to a few salvage yards maybe they might have one, they did! So I went there today and could barely get to the door with all their junk everywhere. So after climbing around engines, the fork lift and fenders I finally got inside. Then I was not greeted but rudely asked what did I want? After saying about the radio they said I could try it out becau... view morese they do not give any warranty and guess what it didn

ILLEGAL WORKERs at this place....
ILLEGAL WORKERs at this place. I called there and some rude accented prick picked up. I could barely understand him or what he was saying. The A-Ho didn`t even let me finish asking questions before he rudely hung up on me. I was thinking about going there to get some parts that were available, but after that experience I will be taking my money elsewhere. Just because its north imports doesn`t mean you have to impor... view moret your workers as well! I DO NOT recommend such a crappy place to anyone!
