I was in need of a knew car and I searched online and there company popped up. I had my eye on a 2003 Grand Am and I was REALLY interested in it..lol I called and John told me it was still available. I was doing a trade in, and lets just say, my car wasn`t in the best of shape. All I had was my trade and a x amount of cash. I would totally recommend Motorcars of Lansing to anyone. I was short on cash and he even dropped the price. I have never been this happy about a car. I got a really good deal. I love my knew car and it`s MINE. No car payment or anything..lol They fixed a few things in it and it was ready for me within a few hours. More car lots need to operate like him. CUSTOMERS FIRST!!! This is a retraction of my good post around a year ago! At first everything was very good and I was so happy thinking about my goof deal. Now, is the opposite. They did not honor the AC warranty and also were very rude with me. Also, the PWC extent warranty that they sell is very bad, the service is horrible and they did not cover anything that they say. Motorcars had the car I wanted, and reduced the price from their website offer. I am by nature a very careful buyer and asked to take the car to Firestone to get checked out. John said `go right ahead, here`s the keys`. He also stated that he would fix anything that needed to be done. Had a great experience!! Purchased a 2009 Camry for the best price (3k less than any 2009 we could find) John the owner gave us an awesome deal! We just purchased a white 2006 Honda Pilot-Ex. The car was a few THOUSANDS below the market price. Before we purchased the car, John let us take the car to a local mechanic that we have been working with and the car was proved to be safe and reliable as John mentioned to us. John and his mechanics also went through a few minor things that we asked them to replace/fix before we made the payment. I can see that he cares a lot about these negative remarks and was working very hard to show us the opposite. He has been working in the field for 10 years and running good business (estimated 400 cars sold in a year). When we were there, we saw people asking him to search for specific cars, people making payments, and him trying to find cars from online auctions. I think if you want to do business with them, you need to be specific about what you want, talk it through with John, and make a list of things to help this busy man remember what your agreements are. He kept his promise with us, and we would definitely go back again.
