As anyone reading this must already know; researching and purchasing a new or used car is a tedious process. I knew this prior to going. I did my due diligence, I visited 4 other dealerships around MA and NH, and visited every company website looking for a decent price on a decent All Wheel Drive, Nissan Murano. After finding a modest price for a Nissian Certified Used Murano, I called the dealer asking for the inter... view morenet manager in order to discuss a deal without speaking with the general sales staff; I was told not only was the manager noted on the website absent, she was fired. A great sign to be sure. (http://www.edmunds.com/c?ˆ¦)* Use this to review "Internet Price" The sales person was polite, but lacked the basic understand of the car. I knew more details than they did, and they swore up and down that they were new to the business. That did not surprise me. I test drove the car only to find out that the car was apparently beaten to within an inch of its life by the two previous owners, and found the brakes lacking, the interior looking like someone was sick in it, and a more destroyed tailgate than some I went to at Notre Dame (rimshot) My Waterloo was needing the car quickly. Should anyone read this, understand that doing real due diligence, doing real research, should take weeks, not days. (http://www.mass.gov/ocab?ˆ¦) This is an article describing the $500 extra non-nonnegotiable (snicker) fees that Framingham Nissan told me I had to pay. "But its a state requirement! believe me, i just want you to get a new auto!" Ultimately, Framingham Nissan got 500 that they should not have, and I got a ok car at a poor price. Find a different dealership at all costs. The idea that they are paid by salary rather than commission misses the point regarding economic encouragement; the sales men and women still need to prove that they make a certain number of sales to remain employed. I was told, while explaining that the government of MA told me not to pay their fees, that the manager worked hard. Why should anyone be persuaded to buy a car because the management works hard? It is your money, you worked hard, and so help me God, find a dealer that will not attempt to guilt you like a jilted ex. I may add, unless you make $500 an hour, you should make finding a great price your job for as long as it takes. I will attach important websites I found before, to try to save you some time.

I normally don`t like bad-mouthing people or companies on the Internet based on one or two bad experiences, but honestly, the people who work at Framingham Nissan, both in sales and in the service department, are criminals. My advice to you: Avoid them. I had a good feeling about the dealership initially, when I bought a used Nissan Versa from them. They seemed better and less sleazy than a lot of the other dealer... view moreships I had worked with. Once I bought the car, however, I quickly realized that pretty much everything they told me was a lie. They told me the car had new tires. It didn`t. They told me their "customer loyalty program," as they ironically call it, included free oil changes for the life of the car. It doesn`t. And the list goes on. And on. And on. Their customer service, as well, is a joke. I`ve never interacted with ruder people. I seriously wonder how they sleep at night. So, to sum up, never buy a car from the crooks at Framingham Nissan. Trust me, you`ll thank me.
