In 1955, at the young age of 26, Richard Mastria Sr. became Taunton`s promising new Chevrolet dealer. Located on Rte 44 on the way to Seekonk, Mr. Mastria established himself as one the most outstanding dealers to serve the Taunton market. He represented Chevrolet for 27 years. During his time as a dealer, Mr. Mastria`s young son Rick spent endless hours shadowing his father, ultimately learning the business from the ground up. Impressed with Rick`s knowledge and leadership skills, General Motors awarded Rick his own dealership in 1981, a Buick franchise located in Raynham on Rte 104. Rick was just 27 years old. In 1987, Rick acquired a Pontiac and GMC Truck franchise to add to his Buick endeavor. Rick`s outstanding commitment to customer satisfaction led GM to award him with a Saturn franchise in 1992. Rick built a new building on Rte 44 in Raynham to house Saturn and later moved his Buick, Pontiac, GMC Truck store to another new facility next to Saturn. In 2004, Rick was presented with the opportunity to expand his business by moving into the import automobile market. In one year`s time, Rick, along with his valued management team and loyal customer base, opened a Subaru and then a Nissan franchise, both located on Rte 44. Most recently, Mr. Mastria opened a Suzuki franchise to meet the needs of a growing population of buyers who are concerned with fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance and safety. All of Mastria facilities are state-of-the-art and are committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction. Rick`s stores have been honored with distinguished awards such as the Saturn`s Summit Award, GM`s Best in Class award and Mark of Excellence status. Extremely disappointed with the assistance that I received from the management at this company. The manager that `assisted` us was extremely disrespectful. I will never return here again. Steve Lander, aforementioned manager, should be fired for the way we were treated.

Good people, fair prices, and flexible. I recommend knowing what you want and the MSRP before heading in. Have a price in mind and they will work with you on it as well as help finance. Thumbs up all around

I love Prime

some say they hate to shop for cars, but they love cars, and they buy cars, thats me ! I hate to walk into a dealership because you get attacked at the door, or some guy slides out of a car on display( there should be a warning( salesman in here!)anyway these guys were decent and i did not feel like i was offerwhelmed . it is never fun, but here it was painless. They have pretty girls, guys that know whats what and g... view morereat coffee!. It was easey to buy car. nice to know I can have a stress free place to go

Great new car buying experience

No car buying experience is perfect, but Prime is a great place to buy a Honda. I shopped at Prime and at Village Honda in early 2009.

At Prime, they are direct, they don`t waste you time with a complicated dog-and pony show like Village Honda, they have a very comfortable show room and loads of cars right there to pick from, and the sales force is knowledgeable, helpful, appropriately pushy ( this is car sal... view morees we`re talking!) but they have a no BS approach I liked. I had Lillian, very intelligent, helpful and capable, and the manager was Greg. Both were excellent.

The showroom is large, there is a neat bowling / air hockey game for free for the kiddies, and they even let me bring in my golden retriever! I can honestly say I never had as much fun buying a car as I did at Prime.

The price you get here includes ""destination"" fees and there are no nickle and dime extras tacked on later. The document fee is 295, it could be as low as 250, but that`s a minor point. The fee for the plates is standard, basically the same anywhere in the city. They did not tack on a ""lease initiation fee"" which Village said was mandatory ($690 of ""mandatory"" - right). So the price you are shown is close to complete. Naturally, MA 5% sales tax must be added at some point.

Once you get the price, they will negotiate, and they are direct, honest, and competitive. All in all I felt I was treated fairly and got a good price. At Village I had a hard time even getting them to reveal the price, and then I felt like I was trapped in a bad 3-card monte game with the fees and the pressure. Not so at Prime. They treated me with respect, and I felt they were honest and forthright. Very refreshing.
