The service is great. The people are super nice. They are timely and cost efficient. All of the estaminets they gave me where right on when I went I pick my car up. They know what they are doing and will explain it to you. I am glad I finally found a car shop I can trust.

I was referred to AA transmission from a relative who is a avid "hot rod" car owner and lover. My 08 Mercury Mariner had already lost its first tranmission, which was under warranty, and now I needed yet again a second repair in only 4 years (although some of the vin #s were issued a recall for defective transmission, according to Ford mine wasnt one of them. yeah right)! In any case, I talked with the owne... view morer who is a genuine and very friendly person. I didn`t feel like I was being taken advantaged or upsold additional maintanence repairs. They are fast, the prices are reasonable compared to other places I called and I am confident in their work. It`s been a year and my car is running fine. I think I have found my mechanic. I would certainly recommend them to others. Keep up the great service Ron!

We took our 1995 Chevy Blazer ...

We took our 1995 Chevy Blazer to Ann Arbor Transmission for a new transmission. We found the owner to be professional, respectful, and a real "car guy", which made us feel comfortable and confident about the workmanship. So far, the Blazer is running great and we are happy to have it back on the road. I would definitely recommend Ann Arbor Transmission to anyone.

Nice people. Quality remains to be seen

These guys offered the best price I could find after calling 6 locations in Ann Arbor. I didn`t have time to call more, but they quoted $1600 for a rebuild of a 2003 Cavalier transmission. It ended up being $1650 after tax. I brought it in at about 11:00 a.m. and the next day by 4:00 p.m. they had finished. They were willing to drive me to a rental car place, as well as pick me up from rental place when I returne... view mored the car. I really appreciated that. Other than this information, I can`t yet comment on the quality of the work as it just happened yesterday. They give a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty on their work (void if you abuse it). These guys are all pretty grizzled, but that`s a good thing for auto repair guys. They all have 15-20 years experience working on transmissions, so I expect they know what they`re doing.
