Wouldn`t go back for a FREE alignment!

Went in for an alignment and besides the fact that they didn`t to tell me (even after I asked) that an alignment on a front wheel drive car may not fix pulling (due to the car having no factory adjustable caster/camber), I was told two bits of information from them: 1. They said my rear trailing arm was bent, needed replacing, and also gave me a very high quote to do the job. After further inspection, the arm is ... view morenot bent at all. 2. They said low-profile tires are for racing only, not normal drives/commute to school or work. After research, I`ve found this statement to be completely false. Needless to say I`ve switched my alignment services to a different car care center in Baton Rouge and am very happy with the change. I`ll never go back to simple simon. Thanks

Best Local Tire Business Around

This is one tire store that has been around since i was a child and can remember my parents coming to see Mr. Bill. I absolutely love all of his comercials and his businesses! The people here are friendly though every job gets overwhelming and mistakes happen...you just have to move on and know you are supporting a local family...not some chain!

Do not get tires from here!

I bought tires with a warranty plan from Simple Simon on 9/8/2008. I got a flat (which is covered by the warranty plan) and brought the tire to Simple Simon on Monday, December 22, 2008, at 8:30a (1 hour after they opened). I talked with B.J. who told me that I had at least a two hour wait in order for them to change my tire. I told him that I would leave the tire and have them call me when they were done. I asked th... view moree approximate time that it would be ready and he told me around noon (3.5 hours from when I got there). I left him my old receipt so he would have all of the information he needed and told him to call if he needed any more information. I never got a call on Monday. I went back in on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at 10:50 to pick up my tire. B.J. recognized my face and asked how he could help. I told him that I was here to pick up my tire. He asked to me follow him to the service shop where he showed me the tire, off the rim to tell me that I had a hole in the tire - I KNOW I HAVE A HOLE IN THE TIRE, THAT`S WHAT CAUSED THE FLAT. My rim lay there without a new tire and looks like it was just brought in. We went back to the service desk and B.J. began to start a new ticket for me. He all day the previous day and 3.5 hours on Tuesday to do this. 40 minutes later I got a bill for labor, another tire warranty and several non-sense fees. When I was sold the warranty I was told that everything would be taken care of. My bill was almost half of the cost of a new tire. I complained to B.J. that he should have this done much earlier (like Monday) and I shouldn`t have had to wait 40 minutes. He told me that they were busy yesterday. EVERYONE IS BUSY EVERYDAY - JUST GET THE JOB DONE BY THE TIME YOU PROMISE YOUR CLIENTS. I don`t understand that if I was in line to have my tire done in 2 hours (if I would have waited), why was my tire STILL NOT DONE (and work had to be initiated by me coming in) the following business day. Service like this is absolutely unacceptable.
