BEWARE This company ordered a part from me under a false name. They then filed a credit card dispute for the entire amount (and kept the merchandise) and made a faulty receipt. Then, they used my shipper # to order parts from another company. These people are scam artists and should be in JAIL. BEWARE

Fayards saves people money and burning gas going out looking for parts . They always come through in a pinch and somtimes you can see competitors saying ugly things about the parts men at Fayards but it`s only because they are not as persistant as Fayards . Needs to run a BUSINESS like a BUSINESS

Just moments ago I had yet ANOTHER bad experience with this man who obviously thinks he is king. The next time he calls ME asking ME if i have a particular part for HIM to buy (since HE doesn`t have it in HIS JUNK YARD ) and I tell him i DON`T have it and he proceeds to tell me that I DO I will report him to the BBB. & on top of that when I reassure him i DON`T have it he HANGS UP IN MY FACE! Hard to Find Parts and Highest Quality Service

I use these people on a regular and consistent basis. Their unrelenting way of really trying to help their customers keep me coming back again and again. For instance, I needed the vertical panels for my 1993 Infiniti I30 convertible. These panels are no longer available at the Infiniti Dealership, their obsolete. These panels are the located in the rear of the vehicle opposite the front dash board, and they hold the... view more rear audio speakers. NOBODY, I mean NOBODY in the South East had these availabe. I called Fayard Auto, and they asked me to "" HOLD "". I could tell they were busy, and I thought to myself, that the staff member could easily tell me that they did not have them and I could possibly try the dealership which every other Auto Parts company had referred me. The Staff member came back to the phone and told me that if I came in and Pre-Paid for the items, that he could have the panels shipped to his location within three business days. My Jaw dropped to the floor. I immediately ran over and paid for the items and the rest is History. Needless to say, in three days, I had what I was looking for and they fit perfectly as they were the original panels in which I could not find anywhere. Fayard Auto Parts continues to satisfy me on a regular basis, and also I just found out that they have a body shop and repair facility. These guys are truly awesome. AUTO PARTS EXPERTS, THEY SAVED ME $2500.00 DOLLARS!

I had a problem with my vehicle for months, I brought it to Several other Repair facilities and the repair shops were telling me to just throw a Rebuilt engine in and be done with your problems. A good friend of mine referred me to Fayard`s Automotive at 305 WestBank Expressway there in Gretna LA 70053. Their mechanic replaced 3 ignition coils and did a Tune Up. Louisiana`s Finest Auto Parts !

I`m always in a bad mood when my automobile breaks down or some kind of maintenance needs to be done. It is always a pleasure to call Fayard Auto Parts. My wife and I have been using them since the late 70`s and early 80`s. The other day, 07/01/10, I sent my wife over to see about an Alternator for my 05` mercedes S500AMG. The Alternator was $266.97, not alot of money but enough to hit my wallet pretty good. I brough... view moret the alternator to Fayard`s and their employee asked me if I wanted to have it checked? I replied ""what the heck""? Come to find out, it wasn`t bad, it was a bad battery. Now, I know if I would have gone anywhere else, I would have bought a alternator and many other things. Super Auto Parts Store .....

I called to inquire about a original part for my automobile, the dealership was selling the part for $544.93 plus tax. I went to purchase this part from the Ford Dealership and brought the part home to install. I could not seem to find anyone to help me install it and I had a neighbor come over and he asked me if I had called Fayard Automotive Parts for this very same part? I told him I did not hear of Fayard Auto se... view morelling original parts, and he stated that Fayard`s has been around since 1970`s, and they sell all original part as well as after Mkt parts. I am Crazy as crazy gets, I wish to keep my vehicle all original. Well to make along story shorter, I called Fayard`s (504) 368-8894 and I could not believe it, the very same part, same box, same part #, cost $276.95. This company also sells general motors original parts as well. I have a 98` corvette, and I have been restoring it totally, every part I have been saving atleast 35% to 50%. It`s crazy to keep going to the dealership and to spend money when you can save with Fayard Automotive, and get the same parts. I am absolutely dumfounded. Outstanding people, knew exactly what was wrong with my truck when I explained over the phone.

I was broke down on I-10, on my way back to Houston ,Texas. I pulled to the nearest repair facility and they told me that no one in the whole area had the part that I needed nor did anyone do the kind of work necessary to repair my vehicle. One of the cashier`s there at the place told me to call Fayard Automotive. I asked for a phone book and I called Fayards. I asked the repair shop if they knew what the fellow at Fayard`s was explaining and wow, no more than 45 minutes later , they had the part over to the shop and I was on the road again in no time. If it were not for Fayard`s Automotive Parts Center, I probably would still be there in New Orleans. This company still sends me parts here in Dallas Tx. I keep thanking them each and everytime I call them for what they did. OH! IT was closing time at that, and they even stayed open and brought my part to the repair facility all the way across town. Cool to know there is still some descent businesses there in the great city of new orleans. They have my business. Rock on Fayard`s.
