Call another tow company! Guy`s has poor customer service. Towed my truck to the wrong location and refused to admit or apologize, much less make things right. Keep insisting they put the truck where we requested, but we actually had to search up and down the street to find the truck at another business down the road from the address we requested and was on the invoice. Really? Don`t they have GPS in tow trucks... view more these days? And I would be making this up because??? Guy`s wanted another full tow fee to move the truck to the correct address. We called another tow company who came and moved the truck for $24 less than Guy`s fee. Spoke with Guy`s Baton Rouge manager Jeff Smith who actually told me he could care less about customer service. I`m a professional who works in an industry where customer service and care are everything. Am really flabbergasted with the attitudes at Guy`s. Thought the owner, based at the Lafayette Guy`s might like to know how his employees treat customers, but he refused my calls. Guess the towing business has so much business that good customer service isn`t necessary. Shame on them both. My old truck is likely to break down again. Guy`s will not get my money again.

GUYS TOWING IS A JOKE! WORTHLESS!!!!!!
Are you kidding? I know it`s a different pace down South, especially Louisiana, but these guys are ridiculous. My Navigator broke down and I got it to a gas station. I called Guy`s Towing to have the vehicle picked up, exchanged information & payment arrangements. I was told it would be done right away. I got a cab home and made arrangements to get the car repaired the next day. When I called Guy`s towing to tell the... view morem where to send my car, I was told they had never picked it up! The girl on the phone was obviously overwhelmed with answering a phone AND having to deal with another customer in the office. She had me on hold 10 minutes before taking my call! I was told that the person who helped me, Jason, just probably forgot because they were too busy. No apologizes of any kind! Meanwhile the gas station had the car impounded! These guys are a JOKE!!!

If You Love Your Car, Chose Another Tow Service
I called the Mercedes-Benz dealership and asked if they could send a technician on-site to fix my top on my AMG convertible. They in turn called Guy?ˆ™s Towing Service to transport my car from my home to their service center. I was not at home when the technician came to my home to pick my car up. He called me and when I spoke with him I specifically told him to go slow so as not to damage the partially retracted hard ... view moretop and that he should not move my car from my home if he could not do so without damaging it. He agreed.

My son watched the Guys Towing Service technician load the car back end first, said that he saw the front end of the vehicle hit the driveway and then dragged along the concrete as it was pulled up onto the flatbed trailer.

Cognizant of this, when I went to pick up the car weeks later from The Mercedes-Benz dealership and before I took possession of the car I spoke with a Service Advisor at The Mercedes-Benz dealership, and we examined the front end together and the damage was obvious. The service advisor gave me a copy of invoice number 221329 from Guy?ˆ™s Towing Service, Incorporated and examined the area on the invoice where they would have marked previous damage. There was no existing damage marked on the invoice and he told me that I should contact Guy?ˆ™s Towing, who The Mercedes-Benz dealership uses exclusively to tow their cars about having the damage repaired.

I also noticed when I picked the car up that the height setting on the vehicle was all the way down. The car can be adjusted to three different levels. This could have contributed to the damage, and it seems to me to be important information with regard to training tow technicians.

I spoke with Jeff at Guy?ˆ™s Towing Service several times and left several messages for him. He was supposed to come out and check the damage to my car on at least three different occasions and when re-contacted he stated that he wanted to get the technician and vehicle used to tow my car out to my house so that he could understand how the damage occurred and that this would be a training opportunity for his technician. I understood, but he failed to make the appointment stating that the vehicle which towed my car had hydraulic problems. After having left several left messages for Jeff I have given up.

I have received an estimate from The Mercedes-Benz dealership which totals $3286 plus tax for paint, materials, parts, and labor to repair my vehicle. I sent a letter to Guys Towing outlining the above information and still have not gotten a response.

I understand that mistakes happen, but their run and hide approach to taking care of damages caused by their reckless technician precludes me from ever recommending them to anyone who cares about their vehicle.

On 5-27-11 my POS truck crapped out on me and left me stranded at 1 in the morning on I10. Like some others I almost didn`t call Guys because of a few bad ratings. I was pleasantly surprised. They said the wrecker would arrive within 45 minutes, and it showed up in less than 30. The driver, Ray, was clean-cut, friendly, and efficient. He got the truck loaded up in a jiffy and got me home. Overall it was well worth th... view moree money spent. Of course I hope not to break down like that again, but if I do I will call Guy`s. Also, if you read the negative reviews most of them are from maladjusted malcontents who got their cars towed because they were illegally parked. It`s not Guy`s fault you got your cars hauled away, it was yours. So shut up. Thanks, Guy`s!
