Got 3 estimates for repairing front end crash. Dealership, Firestone, Troostwood. Troostwood was literally less than half!!! Those corporate shops are a racket.

I had my catalytic converter stolen off my car, and these guys slapped a new one on so fast I could hardly believe it, never had a problem with it. I just wish they`d get someone else to answer their phones.

We have been using Troostwood for 9 plus years. Ryan always does a great job of explaing what the issues are, how much it will cost and how long it will take to make the needed repairs. Everyone else there is awesome, Don and Shawn are super helpful and knowledgable, the office manager is also great to work with. If anyone is in need of car repairs I highly reccommend Troostwood Garage.

I have been going to Troostwood Garage for about ten years. I trust them 100% they have always been honest and there work on my cars has always been 100 % happy. I have been there for many things like oil changes,tires,brakes,water pumps, fuel pumps etc. My biggest repair was my engine that was also done 100%. I always have been helped in the nicest way and Don and Brad have always answered and explained any question... view mores I have had. Everyone there is always nice and the best part of Troostwood is they are the best around and the cheapest. I one time had a small accident with my car and dealing with insurance can be stressfull but my car was at Troostwood and they handle it all for me and kept me updated on my car. My car was repaired and could never tell i had a accident a big thanks to Don and Brad to make sure i was 100% satisfied. Let me also say they can detail a car wonderfull i have 3 kids that spill pop and candy all the time and i had it done at Troostwood and my car looked like new again.

I had a friend who lives on a low income and need new brakes she had her car at another place i told her to call and have them put a hold on the repairs because she needs to call Troostwood Garage. She called them and it was half the price of the other guys. She was so thankfull for them. She got her brakes fixed and still had money in her pocket. She will aways go to Troostwood garage from here on out.

I say give Troostwood garage a try and you will be very happy with the price and the repairs. I trust them with all my cars and everyone there is nice and the office girl has always been helpfull. I stumbled upon Troostwood when I was in college and since the then I have never taken my car anywhere else. From the first time I entered the garage everyone was honest and welcoming. As a young, single girl I can not describe my appreciation for their honesty. I would recommend this garage to anyone.

I used to trust these guys fully. In fact when I moved to KC, everyone recommended them to me. My first few car repairs were great, and I saw why the recommended them to me. However, I soon saw the dark side of Troostwood. Firstly, my sister got her car back from them with the wheels very poorly aligned, i.e. much worse than when she took her car in. Then when she took her car back in to fix this, they made her pay f... view moreor the alignment. Next up, when she got her car back, there was a rattling noise coming from the back of her car. Next in this saga... I last took my car to them four months ago. They did a great job as usual, and I thought everything was fine. I paid my bill and left happily, satisfied by their service. However, a couple of weeks ago, four months after the service, I got a voicemail saying that I needed to go back in and finish paying my bill. The lady had said something about a new girl being in the office who didn`t know what she was doing, or didn`t charge me fully. Then shortly after this I got an invoice in the mail, this time saying that all of this was my fault, and that I LEFT the office without paying in full. And also saying that they had contacted me the day of the billing four months ago by mail and by phone, a complete lie. Today, I went in to get things solved. I went to the billing office and asked to speak with the manager, hoping to kindly get things resolved. However, the lady said that I should talk to her. I explained my scenario. She then asked why this was a bad situation and why I shouldn`t pay. I was willing to pay, but the fact is this is a horrible business practice, you simply don`t tell something that they have paid and almost half a year later tell them they have not. I further explained that they will now lose customers from this once I have spread the news of this service to those who either have or will in the future send their car to them. I then wished to explain that in no way should I be held accountable for this.. I further told her that I had never been contacted like the invoice said. At this she told me FINE, YOU DON`T HAVE TO PAY, BUT LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK AGAIN. Wow Troostwood and lady in the front office, that is in no means great service, or ""The Best I`ve Found"" or ""Honesty is the Best Policy"" or ""The Place to go"" or ""The best in Town"" as it says below

I have never been disappointed in Troostwood. Last month I got quotes from a dealer, a local service station and from Troostwood to replace my timing belt. The dealer was $1200, the service station was 1100 and Troostwood was just under $600. When I came to pick up the vehicle, the price was $450.
