Crawford Auto has fixed my girlfriends car the first time was $13,000 in damage with her brand new Mazda 6S, they assured us the car would look like new when they were done and we were very impressed with the work. A few weeks is all it took to fix it, considering the amount of damage which included the hood the passenger side the trunk and wheels I thought it would take longer. I brought my Honda Accord to get repaired, and I thought the service was excellent and the work done on my car was quality. I would definitely recommend to bring a car there for repair.

It?ˆ™d been quite a while since I had an accident (a good thing!) so I didn?ˆ™t really know where to take my car for repairs after a recent, small front end collision (a bad thing). After putting the feelers out, a friend of mine whose family has lived in Logan Square for a long time told me that her parents always use Crawford Auto. After confirming that my insurance company works with them, I got an estimate from the... view more insurance adjuster and took my car into Crawford to have them take a look as well. After comparing the estimate to my car, they said they do in fact work for that insurance company. I dropped my car off the next Monday and picked up a rental car from Enterprise right next door. All I can say is that I am happy I listened to my friend and there is a reason her family has been going to Crawford Auto for so long. The repairs look like new, the staff was great and everything was super easy.

Was refereed to Crawford after a minor accident on the road. They fixed the damage to the body. They also returned my car to me with a speaker blown. They then called me a liar when I complained. Finally, they agreed to repair the the speaker. They attempted once, but received the wrong speaker in. It has been 5 weeks, and they still haven`t contacted me with the parts, which should amount to nothing more t... view morehan an off the shelf round door speaker and maybe an adapter harness. I have to assume they are just hoping I will forget and go away. This is the worst garage i have ever dealt with. When your insurance company refers you to them, just say no and go for a better known company that will actually hold themselves accountable. This is an issue of a service provider being wholly unwilling to accept responsibility, and then avoiding promised services using reprehensible tactics. _______________ I strongly encourage other consimers to think long and hard before leaving your property with Crawford Auto. The have left my car in poor condition, what will they do to yours? They have filed to communicate with me, how will they communicate with you? The are now backing out of their promise to me, can you believe what they tell you?

dont know if you all read crawford`s reply to my review... wow they sound really helpful huh? Really upstanding shop insulting a customer when they clearly messed up So an update on this review... My attorney told me to try the Better Business Bureau route while we collect everything for our case. Long and short, Crawford basically decided to lie about several things in response to the case. They are still clai... view moreming that is is all a BIG coincidence that right after I got my car back the blinkers stopped working and then fried electrical system, the passenger door they were working on wouldnt unlock, AND even though they left OTHER stuff in my engine bay which there is no way they can deny was theirs, the air valve tool that got wedge in my shifter linkage couldn`t be theirs! Really? And is wasnt corroded. pictures will posted, see below. The funny thing is they said it was their air valve tool until the severity of the damage was exposed. Nice part is I have video, photos, and witnesses.... and a nifty iphone app that we will just tell them about in court. So I`ll just keep updating all my online reviews so nobody else has to go through this with them. The sad thing is they dont realize I`m in online marketing and advertising. Good enough at it that I run my own shop. So things Im good at... Search Engine Optimization, Online advertising, and site design. So what Ill do is create a site with the whole story, post the videos and photots, as well as a few things from my nifty iPhone App, and then optimize the site so I show up in google search results above them. I brought my Audi tt in to have the passenger side repaired after an accident. When I got my car back the blinkers on the passenger`s side were not working. Then a few minutes later none were. I was told to bring it back in so they could fix it. The next day I lost 1st and 2nd gear in my car while driving. They said they would tow the car in and that they would figure it out. All this in less than 1 hour of dri... view moreve time from when I picked up my car. Then I get a call from them saying they spent "HOURS" looking and couldn`t find the problem. I came and got the car. Before I left I realize that the passenger`s door wouldn`t open or unlock. Peter told me to take the car to my mechanic and when he figures out the missing gears issue to bring it back so they can fix door. I took my car home opened the hood and within 2 seconds found the problem. They had left a metal valve from an air tool under my hood and it was wedged in my shifter linkage as well as a plastic panel snap in my strut well. I called Peter and he admitted they used those tools and said he would have the car towed in...to please include the valve so he could "confront the technician." Now Peter is telling me that "Oscar said" they are claiming they are not liable so I am taking them to court. I had a tow truck driver go over today to pick up my car and they turned him away and said that there was a balance on the car... WHAT?! My insurance paid them in full weeks ago! Are they really trying to charge me for the tows?! So tomorrow morning when they open, myself, a tow truck, and a police officer are going to be waiting with my title, receipts, and signed witness affidavits. Good luck guys.
