Finally, an HONEST mechanic!!!
After my last mechanic went out of business, we searched long and hard for a new mechanic. It took YEARS!!! In the long run, all of them turned out the be crooks ... then a friend recommended Kips to us.
I had some work done to my 84` Monte Carlo Super Sport. Okay, so some work is an understatement. Anyway, they botched it up badly. Old parts were mixed with new, short cuts were made, and as a result, things ... view morewere breaking down left and right.
Kips has been there for me through all of these problems. Him and his wife (who works at the front counter .... a very friendly face to see) have been quick to diagnose problems and avoid major catastrophy.
It still isn`t all the way fixed, but I imagine that years from now we will still find problems with this car.
After his stellar and honest work with this car, we have trusted ALL of our cars to his care. And so have ALL of our friends.
Our 90` Jeep was constantly causing us problems, especially when we were out of work. They understood and helped us out with the payments and pricing, only fixing what absoultely needed fixing.
I don`t know how many times other mechanics upcharged us. Being a woman, I knew never to go to those places alone, because mechanics have a tendency to charge us more ... like we`re stupid or something. But Kip??? Never .... he and his wife (and thier dog) always treat me fairly, even without a male escort.
Kip has never tried to tell me my muffler bearings were bad, my radiator suspension shock needed to be replaced, or that my flux capasitor was on the fritz. Nothing like that ... GOOD HONEST MECHANIC.
Don`t say I didn`t warn you. ....... don`t go to Rush (biggest crooks in town), stop no where else. The only place to go is Kips Automotive.
