I had a great experience buying a 2013 Ford Focus from Mark Cain at Gene Evans Ford in Union City, Ga. He was very attentive to my needs. He answered every question without going over my head. Recently, my truck was rear-ended rather badly. I called Gene Evans Ford to find out the procedure for repair at their body shop. The staff member told me to just call them the day before I would be dropping the truck off for repair, and I should have it back in several days. They were true to their word. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEIR COLLISION CENTER!!!!!!!!

If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. Gene Evans Ford`s collision center had my VW Golf for 7 wks (originally predicted 3 weeks), and did more damage than repairs. My car was involved in a crash, it was hit on the front right side. Here`s a list of the items that were screwed up when it was returned to me: 1) car won`t crank without a jump 2) right front rim missing two lug nuts and has four de... view moreep scratches 3) front right fender has 2" deep scratch 4) paint inconsistencies on middle of the hood and front right fender that I`m afraid will bubble, peel, and rust 5) front right parking light doesn`t work 6)front right turn indicator doesn`t work 7) front right fender rattles when driving 8) front right fender turn indicator light cover is clear, should be yellow 9) car pulls left--ford charged State Farm $80 for alignment that didn`t happen 10) spoiler front bottom not flush on left side 11) missing piece of battery cover, battery is loose within compartment and moves about 2" around, not consistent with orig. VW design 12) dash/console not put together properly, approx 1" gap driver side, smaller gap passenger side 13) passenger side plastic molding b/t doors (under seatbelt), not flush 14) passenger rear door, gasket not attached and pins broken so can`t be attached properly 15) radio stations not picking up properly 16) front right fender improperly attached, too large spacing on hood, recessed by door 17) hood won`t close properly 18) front right shudders and groans when backing up car 19) wrong type of coolant added, now requires flushing of system 20) engine cover is loose, you can lift it approx. 4 inches My car has now been transferred over to Heritage VW to get re-repaired, as I`m afraid to let these clowns touch my car again. The mgr admitted the car was horrible, that all my claims were justified, and that he wouldn`t send a family member out in the car. The worst of all of this is that Ford was notified of the battery issue and coolant issue by Heritage VW (they completed some of the work Ford couldn`t do as a subcontractor) and blatantly ignored it. Seriously, I can`t find a single item that I can say GE Ford repaired 100% correctly. These guys aren`t qualified to scrape chewing gum off a sidewalk. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cost to State Farm: $9,407.44. I will update when I find out what the additional costs will be to truly fix the vehicle. I REPEAT, DO NOT LET THESE CLOWNS TOUCH YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, just so you fully understand the level of mechanical incompetence, VW informed me that Ford had installed a new strut with the components in the wrong order and that it stuck up about 3-4" higher than it should.

Worst Dealership in the World

I brought my car to Gene Evans for a transmission issue. Six weeks and 3 thousand dollars later, all i recieved was excuses. They entire experience was awful. My service advisor, Nathan was a complete idiot who knew nothing about cars and was constantly seeking to increase the bill with needless repairs.
