If I could give this comapny zero stars I would. I simply inquired through an online ad about the price of a few vehicles. I wasn`t interested in their buy here pay here...just wanted to pay cash for a car and wanted to know if they had anything to fit my budget. The individual who replied (no name, of course) was so condecending, rude, dismissive....the list of adjectives could go on and on. Never once did this moron use a complete sentence, proper grammar, punctuation, etc...WTF, who treats a perspective customer that way. Once I read some additional reviews I was glad that there was NO CHANCE of doing business with these fools.

I financed a car from this establishment and it was probably one of the worse things that i have ever done! The company as a whole is a complete scam and the most unprofessional EVER! Got into a car accident shortly after getting the car my insurance company sent me the check with my name and the lien holders name that was suppose to be given to the auto-body shop. But of course they do not follow the law so they DEMANDED I give them the check and they would give it to the body shop. Of course they never gave the check to the auto-body shop and unlawfully cashed the check (which is a felony.) After took a 7 weeks to fix the car and then another 3 weeks of calls from myself and the auto-body shop to the dealership which still did not resolve anything and forced me to go down to the dealership and demanded they write a check (which of course was a PERSONAL check.) The list goes on and on about the issues i have had with them. My car payment was 1 day late and they repossessed my car. They have yet to return my belongings that were in the car which was about a month ago. OVER ALL I WOULD SAY THIS IS ONE OF THE LOWEST OF THE LOW CAR DEALERSHIP AROUND. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Starmax Finance is by far the most unprofessional dealership that I`ve encountered in Orange County, FL. The staff is disrespectful, dismissive, uncooperative, and unreliable. They have two locations: the first on East Colonial Drive, the second at the intersection of East Colonial and Semoran Boulevard -- neither is an improvement over the other. At the East Colonial office, the manager attempted to engage me in ... view morea physical confrontation in front of several customers because he didn`t like the exasperated look on my face due to their incessant runaround. Starmax only has two methods of paying for your car, either in person or over the phone. If you pay in person, be prepared to be treated like trash. If you pay over the phone, be prepared to play a cat and mouse game all day trying to get someone to take your payment, and don`t expect to receive a confirmation number or the next due date. The car they sold me could barely operate; it had no oil, less than 1/4 tank of gasoline, jury-rigged sensors covered in fossilized oil, barely operable A/C, overheating, misaligned tires, and an empty wiper fluid container with a gaping hole the size of the Grand Canyon. I ended up having to pay in excess of $1200 for repairs. When I asked the dealership about the issues, they retorted saying that they weren`t qualified to make an assessment and their mechanic was on vacation -- for three months! Do yourself a favor and save yourself and those you know from the absolute horrid hassle of having to do business with such a poor excuse of an establishment.
