I usually drop off my car in the morning and pickup at the end of the day. They call and explain the repairs and give me an estimates before working on my car. They even suggest what issues I will need to consider for repair in the future. They are honest and friendly.

Took My Truck there for new cats and o2`s and they took 3 days longer to finish then they told me, would not call me back when I asked them to or at all for that matter to say whats going on. 6 days total for me to get it back with check engine light still coming on truck ran like crap wasted gas. They also had the nerve to charge me for an air filter when I just put a K&N in, and replaced my spark plugs wit... view moreh the same ones I just put in there a few days before I brought my truck to the shop with less than 100 miles on them. Took it back they supposedly fixed it again the guy John mentioned by the other horrid review as a pig, well he was unhelpful such a liar every time he says he`ll call he doesn`t, then when you call it`s ""Oh I Was Just About To Call You!"", then proceeds to give no useful information. All why my truck is still running like crap. So....... I took it to the Cape Coral Location hoping it would surely be better! Told them what happened he said he`d be able to fix it no problem another 3 days get the truck back he says the other store put the wrong o2`s in it. Shows me it and it`s covered in black soot! Obviously theres some restriction there but he says its good. Drove the truck and it was better for 1 day then same problem. Took it back The Store Manager Said to me and 2 Others in my truck ""We are always fixing the bayshore stores f*** ups "" his words! Drove my truck said it was like a banana in the tail pipe! WOW REALLY encouraging words! Has my truck and says he thinks he has it fixed but when I ask what he did to it he says ""I cant tell you!"" He did nothing!!!!!!! Called corporate talked to Donna really unhelpful rude hated every minute of the conversation she says shes sending it to her supervisor. GUESS WHO JOHN FROM STORE 8 ON BAYSHORE! AGAIN!!!! Well you can tell this went nowhere says he`s gonna make it right been over a week now hasn`t done anything wont put the cats and o2`s in that TOYOTA recommended because the o2`s they put in didn`t function still after changing them 3 to 4 times who knows what they did! John gives me kevins # Supposedly #2 in this Not Fair And Dishonest Company. He says They will not fix my truck properly and they will not refund my money they say until they get their cats back or they can replace those $106 cheap non functioning magna flows they used with newer $106 cheap magna flows! Can`t go anywhere without them , to get them replaced. He cares not that for 5 months and counting My truck has been terrible on gas mileage has had backpressure on the engine from non functioning equipment they installed, and will probably ruin my seals in the engine. Not to mention the lost time not making money because they have my truck in their shop screwing me around! Do NOT GO HERE NOT FAIR AND DISHONEST. GOOGLE RICK JOHNSON AUTO AND TIRE AND DO RESEARCH AND YOU WILL SEE HOW AWEFUL THEY ARE!!!!!!

I think we all know there are plenty of crooks in the automotive business. Well, Rick Johnson is at the top of the list in my opinion. I caught them red-handed charging me for work and parts they did not do. I paid over $250 for new wires, plugs and a tune up. Upon checking under the hood I found the original parts still on the car. I am a Veteran with disabilities. I haven`t worked on my cars for a long time now and probably shouldn`t try on today`s cars anyway. I just want to put in a good word for Rick Johnson Auto & Tire. In coming to this site I see that there`s some unhappy people who don`t think as highly as I and many of my friends do. But, it`s a fact of life that there`s people who aren`t happy people and never will be no matter what y... view moreou do for them. They may even write something untrue about a company just because they couldn`t get there way. It`s a shame that things like that have come to this in our country. I am and have been for quite a while a regular customer of Rick Johnson Auto & Tire. They`re good people. I`ve bought several sets of tires from them and had them make repairs for me too. I`ve always found them to be decent caring people. Recently, I had my car in the same store I always go to on 41 for service. I`m kind of embarressed to say that I didn`t know some of the features my car has. The manager their took the time to explain the electronic monitoring features such as my average fuel mileage, my tire pressure monitor, the oil life left monitor and more. He spent quite a bit of time with me after my brakes were repaired showing me these things. But you know what he did for me that was really beyond the call of duty? I wasn`t feeling very good that day. In fact I was downright sick. He insisted on driving me home and had one of his employees follow behind us to take him back to his store. I really felt that I was putting him out but am so thankful he did that for me. It just made me feel good that someone with Rick Johnson Auto & Tire cared that much. Thank you Alex!

My husband takes car of his cars and I take care of mine. I`ve had a lot of experience with auto repair people who treat me as if I know nothing for my entire life. I`ve learned where I can go and not get the `dumb blonde` treatment. Upon arriving at Rick Johnson Auto & Tire I was promptly greeted by one of the managers. He asked what brought me into Rick Johnson Auto & Tire that day. I needed an oil change but also was having problems with the power steering. There were other customers that were there already waiting for their cars so the manager gave me my options: I could wait until they could look at my car, they would take me home and would call me with what they found and would recommend etc. I chose to stay as I`m one who wants to have things explained to me face to face. The wait wasn`t as long as I thought it may be. The manager sat down with me and explained what they`d found wrong with the powere steering and their recommendations on how to fix it properly. He shocked me with the price of the oil change, $17,95 for a synthetic blend oil! There`s no such oil change available to me back in Indiana!! I felt that I was in very good hands and told him to proceed with it all. Am I happy? Absolutely! I have only one complaint, there are no Rick Johnson Auto & Tire stores in Indiana!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, my experience was similar. Took my car for brakes and oil change. Not having any problem, just needed the work done. The showroom was empty the day I came (should have been a red flag). Anyway, mysteriously after they began work on it, my vehicle ""mysteriously"" needed over $1000.00 worth of work. With no options, I told them to perform the work. First by ignoring me for nearly 1/2 hour then by suggesting that I did something in to the brakes since I picked it up the day before. I called the corporate office and, of course no Rick, no apology, no satisfaction. Just more rudeness and agression. ""Fair and Honest""? - yeah, sure.

I was told it would take $523 dollars to get an oil leak fixed on my car from Rick Johnson I paid for the repairs and within 2 weeks my car was out of oil, I took my car back 3 times since the first vist and was told each time the problem was fixed. today not even a week from my last vist my Check Oil light came on again!!! Went in to Rick Johnson because my roommates get their general maintenance done there. My car was over heating before all was said and done my bill was $2138.00 Then when I got the car back it wasn`t running right and several bolts that hold the bumper on were not put back on! Spoke to several other repair places who feel that I was over charged about $700 for the repairs. Took the car back because it was not run... view morening right and they didn`t resolve the issue and couldn`t figure out where the bolts that they didn`t replace went. Their labor rate is $99.50 per hour and the area average is $80.00 I will never ever again use these people for any services whatsoever.....Be warned
