Very disappointed with the work... originally took the car in for transmission problems as they were recommended by my dealership. When the car was checked they stated that it was not the transmission it was the catalytic converter. This is where it starts to get sketchy. On a Thursday I get a call from the company stating the part they ordered was the wrong part and that it would be 3 days before the part would c... view moreome in. The very next afternoon approx 40 min before the business closed I get a call from them telling me that my car was ready for pick up. When I asked about the previous days call I get told that they were unaware of any problems and assured me my car was fixed. (Makes me wonder if anything was repaired at all!) 6 months later my car abruptly stops functioning doing the same exact thing it did prior to taking it to Danco the first time. I call Danco and have them come get the car stating needed warranty work as the catalytic converter was malfunctioning (confirmed via a check engine code check) they come pick up the vehicle at 9am where the worker tells me that I would receive a call within the hour to tell me what is going on. 4pm rolls around no call from the business so I call them where I receive a vague answer about the problem and was told would receive another call about the progress about my car. 2 days later still no call so I call again to check the status of my repair work again another vague answer about contacting the manufacture and that I would be called as soon as the vehicle was ready. Friday approx 1 hour before the business closes and I receive a call from them stating my vehicle was repaired and that it was ready for pick-up. I get their where the man behind the desk (who I assume is the owner) proceeds to tell me that there is a charge for my car, yet nothing indicated on the repair bill what I?ˆ™m being charged for, only thing on bill is that there was some sort of emissions code jargon (presumably the codes that the car was originally brought in for) and that the part is no longer under warranty.) When asking why i was being charged that this was warranty work the man behind the desk proceeded to cuss me (IN FRONT OF MY 3yo NO DOUBT) stating that I could go F myself and to kiss his A$$. As I?ˆ™m leaving the male follows me out to my car still cussing and point at me irate when my neighbor who dropped me off to pick my vehicle up was standing outside and asked the man "excuse me" where he proceeded to cuss him and pointed at me stating again that I could kiss his A$$. I will not be bringing my vehicle back to this business and I will make it known to all my friends and coworkers at the Okaloosa County Sheriff?ˆ™s Office what exceptional service I received and to never bring any vehicle to this service station.

My truck was in an accident. After the accident my transfer case shaft seals started leaking. The truck was taken to Danco Transmissions for inspection. Danco said "that the leak was not caused by the accident it was because the vehicle was off roaded". So I started replacing the seals by my self and noticed the transfer case mount was cracked because of the accident, and that is the reason the seals where leaking. T... view morehat goes to show how incompetent Danco is they missed something so easy to see as a cracked transfer case mount. Also my friend had gone there before and they cursed him out for no reason. This place is a horrible business do not go here if you care about your vehicle.
