took my xterra to 5 star they tried th charge me $600 to check my knock sensor said it was making my car stall.i called dealer they said they said it would not make car stall said i might lose a couple mpg but could drive will no problem.they said they had a $20,000 compuer like dealer they do not.i have the same code reader they have.they had my car for 3 day and did not fix nothing and chared me $70.00 to read code... view mores same thing autozone does for free.owner bruce peach was very very rude to me..manager said he was a mechanic he is not.manager said they check fuel pressure but when i ask mechanic he said he did not.go to dealer spend a little more but get the wright advise and get treated right..

they are a joke

They sold me a peice of trash car. I`ve had it since august, and it is constantly breaking down. I`ve put more $$ in the car, than its actually worth. Last night was the final straw, it just died in the middle of us 41. I had to coast it into a gas station parking lot and have it towed. Again, more money I shouldn`t be spending... told me they were going to fix the ac, it worked great, until I left the lot in the pos... view more. Now, the air doesn`t work. Got a new alternator a few months ago, again they fixed it... now I`m going to need a new alternator and battery. They are nothing but scam artists, and tomorrow I will be dropping this hunk of junk car off to them, and never looking back.

great honest service

Having been a customer for over 5 years now and with many services and repairs being preformed and never an issue or an estimate not being accurate and fair myself and my kids all take our vehicles to 5 Star Auto and Last month my son purchased a 2004 Dodge Neon from Eric and he loves it. Best Auto Repair shop around

I was new in town looking for a repair shop.I was going down county line rd and found 5 Star,I was kinda of scared going in being a women and had been taken advantage of before,but my brakes where making a terrible noise making me very nervous.So I had 5Star check out my brakes and I was surprised when they told me it was just a loose part, they could of said it was more than a loose part but did`n`t and from that d... view moreay on they had earned my trust .If you ever need any repair work done you can count on 5 Star.I am very happy I found themthey are great!!

DONT DO IT!!!!!

If you`re not sure, DONT DO IT!!!!!

If you`re hurting financially and think you have a reasonable option of taking your car here for repairs,.... DONT. I had normal routine dealer type maintanence done at 5 Star and my life has been a living hell ever since.

My otherwise reliable and low cost vehicle has become a giant hole to which I throw money into to fix strange problems that have systematically tak... view moreen my car to the reeper. Lose hoses, lowered fluid levels, un-tightened bolts and work supposedly performed that was not done properly. Oh and dont let me start with the electrical problems that were initiated by this same method of destruction.

Numerous things were done to my vehicle that are just beyond comprehension. A sabatage if you will. Loosen this, tweek that and we will see you in a couple of months is their motto.

I will leave you with this WARNING. Weigh your options and if need be spend the extra money to get a second opinion. You may save alot in the long run........ and dont forget to get it documented.
