I was looking for a very particular car (GTO) with a very particular options (Impulse Blue Metallic, 6-speed manual, Blue interior accents). There were exactly two in the entire state of Florida at the time I was ready to buy, and Gary Hughes had one of them. I spoke to him over the phone and was very impressed with his demeanor.

They treated me like an idiot when I explained that I could not buy their car because it lacked emissions controls (technically a felony). They kept insisting that it would pass any emissions test because all parts were installed at the factory, but their car plainly had no catalytic converters. I wasted 10 minutes of my life on their lot, to say nothing of the 2 hours it took to get there.

I ended up trekking back across the state and meeting Gary who waited beyond closing time on a Saturday and was STILL very polite and patient as we looked the car over and went for a test drive. I was impressed that they let me take it out unsupervised. Many salespeople like to go along for test drives, and with sportier cars they usually want to drive it for you, which is absurd.

In any case, if you`re in Central FL, need a vehicle, and don`t want to be hassled during the experience, I cannot recommend Gary Hughes at Direct Sales & Leasing highly enough.

I use my truck for my lawn business, so I not only need a great running truck, I need one that is presentable to my clients. I`ve been driving my truck for quite some time now and I haven`t had one single problem with it. It runs great, sounds great, and looks great. I could not be more pleased with it. I live a few hours north of Direct Sales, but I asked a family member that actually lived in Stuart about the dealership and they had five friends leave extremely happy with their purchases, so I thought I would head down that way. The biggest thing for me when buying a car is I WANT a warranty! I always assumed that you could only get a warranty from a new car dealership and I was WRONG. I saw an advertisement for a truck that looked amazing, so I gave Direct Sales a call. I sat down with the owner Jack, discussed all the different warranty options and bought the truck. So, if a warranty is something holding you back like it did for me, don`t let it. Direct Sales offers them. The car buying process was a breeze and anyone looking should AT LEAST make a stop in =)

I first noticed an advertisement on the net, which is when I phoned the dealer and made an appointment. The sales consultant was very pleasant, clean cut and professional. He escorted me on a test drive with no pressure at any time. I was very comfortable. I followed him into the office, which I might add was extremely nice and clean. THE best car experience I`ve ever had. From the moment I stepped on the lot, everyone was so kind and helpful. The sales people were there if I had any questions or needed help and were NOT overly aggressive or pushy like most dealerships. I already had the exact car in mind that I wanted and had a hard time finding it on my own. After sitting down with Jack and Gary, I received a phone call that they had found ""my"... view more" car. I went to the dealership and it was better than I imagined. Low mileage, the perfect pearly white paint, and the inside looked brand new even though it was used. Gary Hughes was an excellent sales person. My inquiry was responded to promptly and I arranged a test drive for the following day. When I arrived the Jeep was expertly detailed and had just been washed. This particular jeep was in mint condition for being an `03.
