What a Sham!!!
I have had several bad experiences with this company. When attempting to purchase a vehicle from this company, I was simply told I could not get into the type of vehicle I wanted with my credit. I was continuously shown cars that had more mileage than my current car (in which I would be trading in, that I got approved for with no problem), and cars that where much older than my car. I was informed that I would be ... view moreforced to put down 5,000 in order to get into many of the vehicles on the Hopkins lot. I left very deflated and feeling very defeated... But several months later, I ended up in an 05 Mazda Truck with only 1,000 down with no problem. Actually all in one night.... Since then, I have come across sever friends that have purchased cars from this new Salisbury location, that have been sold lemons. One of which has returned her care over 4 times, with issues since she purchased it. The other I was actually in the car with him when his, engine blow up on the Bypass. All we heard were several loud sounds coming from under the hood, and we then costed for sever feet. This vehicle was just purchased just a little over a week ago, and returned to the Service Center because of problems with the engine. He was informed that the engine was replace, however...... Well this week end like I said the engine simply stopped on the Bypass. The bottom line is.... This company is obviously a shame....... Don`t do business with them!!!!!

Convenient Service
I bought a Chrysler 300 at Hopkins Auto Sales last year and recently scheduled routine service work. I dreaded not having my car for a day, but Hopkins made it easy. When I called to schedule the work, the service manager told me about the Hopkins customer shuttle. She said it would be no problem to take me to work and pick me up in the afternoon. The shuttle worked like a charm.

A Great Company
I was referred to Hopkins Automotive after one of my friends bought a Lincoln LS from them. She said that they had guaranteed financing and could definitely get me in a car. I was skeptical considering my credit history, but was desperately in need of reliable transportation so I went. TOM HOPKINS IS A CROOK
I BOUGHT A CAR THERE & ITS A LEMON IT`S NEVER WORKED I HAVE TAKEN AT LEAST ONE A MONTH THE CHECK ENGINE & OTHER LIGHTS ARE ALWAYS ON & THEY GIVE ME THE SAME STORY IT`S FINE OR MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. Hopkins Automotive = Poor Customer Service, Poor Quality & Poor Excuse for a Used Car Dealership
Hopkins Automotive is THE WORST used car dealership i`ve EVER been to and I 100% ever purchasing a car from them or even stepping foot on their lot for that matter.......FROM MANGEMENT DOWN, you receive the WORST customer service EVER if you`re having problems with the vehicle.......the car i purchased has been in THEIR "SERVICE REPAIR" 5 TIMES (6 in total.....i needed a CERTIFIED repair shop to look at it)... view more w/in a 5 mo, time period w/ 3 of those times being w/in the 1st month of purchase.........i ALWAYS got the runaround when i called regarding the issues w/ the car, i was talked to any kind of way AND the dealership had the nerve to REFUSE to return my car after i`ve been make prompt payments just b/c THEIR TECHNICIANS could NOT REPAIR the issue after 3 ATTEMPTS!!!! so that the car could pass inspection! (which they supposedly guarantee)......I`ve asked management "what does the guarantee provide if the car continuously fails" and the MANAGEMENT replied "that`s a question that NO ONE has the answer to".......Managagement has also made the follow comments in my MANY conversations w/ them......."i don`t want to trade out of the car b/c there`s no guarantee that you`ll be traded into something better" (my mom witnessed this comment), "if you wanted a car that ran like brand new, you should`ve went and purchased a brand new car".....my response "No, I wanted a car that was RELIABLE and would PASS INSPECTION!" and in response for my extreme need for transportation "how is that our problem?".......HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! no interest in customer satisfaction AT ALLL!!!! and I EVEN EXPLAINED to the TECHNICIAN how i needed the car to get to work to help support my mom and siblings due to my father`s recent death! AND they tried to accuse me of not complying to the contract agreement that i would have to take the car through inspection w/in 10 business days of purchase BUT THE CAR WAS IN THE SHOP THE ENTIRE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was just the worst experience ever!!!! and I DISCOURAGE ANYONE from purchasing a car from them UNLESS YOU PLAN ON NOT PAYING FOR THE CAR (in that case shop till you drop!)
