While my salesman did a good j...
While my salesman did a good job things fell apart when I had issues with the used car I purchased. I sent an email and got no reply. I then emailed my salesman again and got no reply. I left a voicemail for a sales manager and got no reply. I emailed a different sales manager and got no reply. Until I used the "email Mike Balise" feature on the company website I could not get anyone to respond to me. ... view more When I finally got a response it was handled poorly and they made me feel like they were doing me a favor to restore the car to a condition where the check engine light would go off and the car could pass emissions!! It was BY FAR my worst buying and dealership experience EVER.

Extremely Expensive Service Department
I would never deal with this dealership again. I lost my key fob to my 2010 Toyota Prius at the Six Flags: New England and this dealership had the nerve to charge me $587.82 to get a replacement key fob without the key. The $588 fee consisted of $250.83 for the actual key fob and $316 worth of labor (3 hours) to reset and program the new key fob. When I got home to Plattsburgh, NY, I asked my local dealership what it... view more should cost to get a new key fob in a similar situation and they told me that it would be $250.83 for the key fob and then between an hour to an hour-and-a-half worth of labor (about a $350 to $400 total for the key fob and service). Guess I shouldn`t have told Balise Toyota that I was stranded 260 miles away from home because they bent me over the proverbial barrel.

i love my new Highlander
I just picked up my new Toyota Highlander and it was the best car buying experience. Dan and Mark made the entire process easy for me. I love the navigation system. Thank you Balise.?ˆ?

Terrible: Balise Toyota Scion West Springfied
I bought a brand new toyota yaris from Balise Toyota in West Springfield. I had a terrible experience with it. The service here is just awful. They are not very professional and not very welcoming.

If you want to get service done to the car, dont bother. Your call gets transfered to the service department, no one picks up and you have to leave a voicemail. Dont expect a call back, it never happens. You have t... view moreo keep calling, maybe you will get lucky.

The sales department is the same. I scheduled a test drive and got there to find out they didnt have the keys and couldnt find it. How unprofessional are you if a customer schedules a test drive in advance but you cant have the forethought to keep the keys ready to go? So they run around to find the keys and make me wait an hour. I had a prior appointment so I scheduled another test drive the next day. Came back; still had to wait another hour. Worst service ever. By the way, if you get Zack, a sales associate, please request another associate. He is the worst! Slow and unwelcoming. Balise is loosing people having him around. He is the biggest moron, and will make you wait forever. I walked out of the place and went to Lia Toyota. Its about a 15 minute drive to Northampton, but believe me, WELL worth it.

When I went to Lia, the manager came out and greeted me, introduced me to a sales agent. They were very profession and most of all, READY, when I got there. I gave them 20 minutes notice, they had the car ready to go and waiting for me to see it. Amazing service. And to add the icing, the same car, same mileage (50 miles more), same features, same everything was $3000 cheaper! Screw Balise Toyota, Lia Toyota is way better. Save your money and go there.

This is not to say Balise is horrible. Just Balise Toyota. Balise Honda was very much the same as Lia. I had great service there. I just didnt like the car so much.

Balise Toyota Scion = terrible service, higher prices, and all around terrible experience. Save yourself the trouble.

BEWARE!!!! Deceptive Service Practices
I took my Camry in for oil and filter change. They called me to say that my waterpump needed to be replaced ($577!) This part had been replaced by another Toyota dealship 5 months before so was still under part warranty but when I questioned further they said there were bolts missing from the pump and there was also a leak on the transmission ($270). I knew they were scamming me and said they should replace the bol... view morets not the pump but told them NOT to do any work on it. I took it to Gale Toyota in Enfield CT to have them look at it a few days later since the oil filter Balise had done was leaking! Gale Toyota said there was ONE LOOSE bolt on the waterpump which they tightened but otherwise nothing wrong with either the pump or transmission. You can be certain I`ll NEVER go to Balise or recommend them to anyone unless they don`t have a problem paying $800 to fix what isn`t broken. WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION

Deceptive Selling Practices
We had the most horrible experience at Balise Toyota in W Springfield Massachusetts. Three times we went there. First time we were there for 3 hours. We did the paper work and were set to pick up car. We made an appointment for delivery. The next day. Day 2; I called Balise to confirm the car was ready. We were there for 4 1/2 hours. Once we were helped (2 hours later) we were informed that the person who sold us ... view morethe car was not there and that they couldn`t find any paper work on us. In addition we were told that we had to re-apply. This is despite filling out numerous forms on the computer the day before. We proceeded to go through all the paper work again, but the numbers were different. We Were told to come back the next day to straighten the matter with the sale person and the financial manager. Day three; we were there 4 hours. Sat down and went over the numbers. Originally they had promised us $7000 trade in on our Matrix and 500 dollar deduction from the price of the new car. Day one we agreed to this, day 3 they decided to take the $500 off. After arguing this we were told sorry, no deal. We walked out in discuss. it was a matter of principle. Each person told us something different, but what really struck me is how condescending each one of the employees are. From the sales person to the manager. Don`t ever buy a car from BaliseToyota. Bad experience.

Three Ring Circus without a Ringmaster
Balise Toyota in West Springfield is a joke. I have been having a horrendous experience with them (""been having"" because this nightmare, unfortunately, is not over yet). I compare it to a three ring circus without a ringmaster because it is chaotic and no one seems to ever consult anyone else in the place. Plus they might as wel just not have managers. They dont accomplish anything, anyways. The day I actually deci... view moreded to buy the car (a used 04 camry) things went smoothly. I was given a rental car (Yaris...) until my car insurance went through. Well after I got the insurance the problems started. Problem #1: After the insurance company confirmed for Balise I had insurance I was told by one of the managers to come get my car. I am currently living about 50 mins away, in CT, mind you so it is not as though it is easy for me to pop by. So I drove up, expecting to get my car. I was 10 mins away when I received a call from a sheepish manager telling me that they had not yet received the title to the car in the mail. ok, so I drive the sweet yaris around for a few more days. not too big a deal. Problem #2: I attempt to reach Balise concerning a question about my warrenty because my handle seems to have broken. 5 hours, too many calls and messages to count later I finally receive a call back and I congratulate the manager by telling him most of his staff in incompetent and he should consider hiring a completely new one. he seems confused. Problem #3: I bring my car in to have the handle looked at (and a part of the tinting on the windows that was starting to peel). Service Personelle: ""Where did you buy this car?"" Me: ""Um.. here. why?"" Service Personelle: ""Your tinting is illigal..."" Me: ""I see."" THEY SOLD ME A CAR WITH ILLIGAL TINTING... after I specifically asked the day I signed the papers if they were legal and was assured that of course they were. after a minor hissy fit (really I am not that hard to please, but this was ridiculous) I left with a 09 camry rental.CONT

Three Ring Circus without a Ringmaster Cont
CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS POSTING BY LBELLE21- Problem #3: I drove the rental car for two days while my car was having its illigal tinting taken off and being retinted (within the legal limit) Drove up to MA today from CT (after taking uncecessary trips to be sure that the tank would be on E upon return..dont worry I made sure I would not be paying for the gas) to get my car... but it is somewhat difficult to drive a c... view morear when the managers seem to have lost the keys. after assuring me that there was no problem (the panic on their face said otherwise) the manager and sales associate (who looked precariously close to soiling his pants) finally told me that the problem was and spent about half an hour in luckless persuit. In the interim I decided to go check out my car. Poor choice in my already fragil state because I learned that the tinting looked as though it had been applied by a intoxicated third grader. After pointing this out to the manager he became strangely quiet and then admitted it did look rather ""sh*tty"". after agreeing to fix a minor discoloration on my car`s paint job for free, wash and tank up the car (after having the tinting redone of course) he said he would have the car driven down to me in CT when it was ready (and they found the keys I suppose) I am not sure how I feel about this since they might hire a talented animal (dog or ferret perhaps) to drive the car down... plus I want to make sure the tinting doesnt come with complementary bubbles like the first time.

To sum it up: would you buy a car from a third grader? then I suggest you do not bother with Balise Toyota and bring your business elsewhere
