Great Car Care
I had my brakes checked. It was my first to go there. To be honest, I`m not really good with cars, I just know how to drive it. =) That`s why I was so happy that they were so accommodating, answering all my questions. I stayed there while they were fixing it. They explained everything to me. They also have great deals. They have used tires that are so affordable. I would definitely bring my car to them again. I know ... view moreI can trust them to do what`s right. I had my car fixed and learned a lot from them too. Thanks.

These guys are simply badass
So I went to fix a bad battery or alternator, wanting to find out exactly what was causing the battery drain. The alternator was probably the culprit (it was my 3rd battery in two weeks). Pinchas, the owner, told me they could take care of it, so I agreed. Every time I leave my car at a mechanic, I like staying there, inspecting the work, the shop itself, and see if the customers go in and out happy instead of peelin... view moreg out all pissed off (I`ve seen plenty of that at auto shops). When they did the work, I stayed the whole two hours that my car was there, standing right by the car and watching everything the mechanic, Alfredo---cool guy--- did on it. I knew exactly what bolts he was to take out, the bracket that needed removing to get to the alternator, and that it would be tough to remove and replace because of the sway bar in the way. I inspected everything he removed, from the old alternator to the new one (VERY important---this device is going to be in your car, don`t you want to familiarize yourself with it before it`s in for the next 2 years??). Mechanics are there simply to repair or replace, they won`t necessarily take their sweet time and clean and blow dust off it---if you want that, do it yourself! BUT, what I did notice as I waited by my car was I took a look at how every mechanic, owner, and manager, worked at this shop like a well-oiled machine. They all took care of what was needed---this place is awesome. Yes, the owner (Pinchas, I believe this was his name, was a tough yet honest guy---no B.S. kinda guy, very cool) did put my car on the lift (my alternator is at the bottom of the engine) without even asking me first but his intention was basically, ""you want me to check if it`s the alternator, that`s what I`m doing."" And he did just that (sometimes when you check the battery for alternator failures you need to also literally check the alternator itself because it may be the cables instead. He was basically trying to save me hundreds of dollars by making sure it wasn`t simply the cables I needed to replace). After that I let them continue till the end.

Once the car was off the lift with the new alternator, Alfredo started the engine, which then emitted a large squeal!! If you`ve worked on cars before, the dreaded belt squeal is a tough one to diagnose. Luckily, Pinchas mentioned I try one of two things---I try outfitting the car with a different belt, or I come back and they would replace the alternator again with another one for free. I tried putting another belt on first, the squeal was still there. I called Rick and was very helpful in letting me know they`d take care of the problem. I came back and had the alternator replaced, the squeal was gone. Whew!

Score: A-, great mechanic (Alfredo), Rick the manager is very professional, and Pinchas is a very cool guy that will work with you till the end (so will Rick). Thanks guys, you rock!

I was Ripped Off By Pini
We shipped car parts to Pini, he cancelled payment thinking he could keep the parts without paying. He never contacted us to say there was a problem beacuse there was none. I have referred this several hundred dollar issue to the Ca States Atty Generals office for prosecution as interstate bank fraud. Find someplace else to do business with thats HONEST.

I wont go anywhere else!
I have the most awful Saturn ION in the world. So bad that the company extended the warranty. The thing is just short of qualifying for the lemon law. When my warranty was just about to wear out the shocks AND the struts went out at the same time. I took it to Marina Tire and Rick told me to quickly get it over to the dealer because it was still probably covered. He could have given me some song and dance about ... view morehow parts wouldn`t be covered and how he could just fix it but he didn`t. Rick and his team are honest, their repairs are reasonably priced, and the turnaround time is fast! They`ve been so patient with me and my horrible car. I always take my car to them for oil changes and now that my car has just fallen out of warranty I`ll take it to them for all of my repairs. I`m even moving about 20 miles away and I will STILL take the car to them for repairs. A good car repair place is so hard to find! They even have a convenient night time drop box. I recommend them to everyone.
