I`ve been going to Jack`s for over 13 years and Vic has always been honest and helpful. He`s never tried to talk me into having them do repairs that I didn`t specifically go in for and I have recommended him to many of my friends who have also had great experiences there. ckim06 is obviously confused.

I have been going to Jacks for 18 years and not once have I had a problem. Vick has always strived for good service. He has never tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman. He always lets med see the prices on the computer and he never talks down to me. I consider Vick a friend. He doesn`t do body work so I don`t know what c person is talking about. I`ve been going to these guys for over 4 years now. Not only have they constantly provided quality service, but they also offer great prices. They don`t try to rip you off like the dealership or other body shops in Glendale. Now in CKIM`s case, your first problem was driving and falling asleep. I don`t normally write reviews, but this business was such a rip- off that I was compelled to write a review to tell the public what a terrible business this was. I got into a small accident, fell asleep a block away from home, and stupidly slammed into two cars. I felt bad about this mistake and left a note on both cars. I naively believed in the goodness of people, and expected NOT to get ... view moreripped-off. The first car I hit was a nightmare. The owner refused to take the car to the mechanic I chose, and wanted to take it to her scandalous mechanic, who made up part names like "wraps" and claimed frame damage on an accident at less then 15 miles an hour. DO NOT use this business unless you love burning money.

I just wanted to explain to anyone seeking good automotive care and repair what a great shop this is. Vik has seen my Jeep through two major jobs (a radiator replacement and a computer replacement) and in each case has gone out of his way to save me money. He knows how to work with customers and the dealerships to get you the most for your hard earned money. He makes time to answer your questions, and he really c... view moreares about making sure you are happy with the result.

He also does all my oil changes etc. Vik goes a long way to making sure that you know he is honest and trustworthy, and not only that but he does a great job at keeping your vehicle running in top form. If you need repair or even just an oil change (I`m going back this Saturday) give him a try- you won`t be disappointed!

I`ve been going to Jack`s Lube for seven years now, ever since I substitute taught for the lead mechanic`s wife. I can`t tell you what a great relief it is to have both an honest and skilled mechanic in Vik. Vik is the lead mechanic and owner of Jack`s Lube (I think he bought it from a guy named Jack years ago) and I can say that I`ve had nothing but good experiences there. I thought for a while that I got special... view more treatment because I was a teacher--but I have seen the way he treats other customer`s vehicles, and those customers are just as happy and relieved to have a skilled and honest mechanic as I am. I can`t tell you how many times the Chrysler dealer has tried to do unnecessary maintenance on my vehicles. It drives you mad, and you can never tell what truly needs fixing and what doesn`t because you`re not a mechanic. When you take your car to Vik`s, he walks you through what`s wrong with the car or what isn`t. When he`s done, he shows you the old part, and shows you the new part. He and his team of mechanics (all Armenian I think, but their English is decent) are great guys that do great work. And it`s inexpensive. A lot of people in Glendale and L.A. know about Jack`s through word of mouth. I just though it was time I shared my love for the place in a public forum, because---even though you may live in Hollywood like I do--taking your car to Jack`s Lube in Glendale is worth the drive.
