I have been going to this shop for quite awhile now. I just got on Yelp to get website to see what offers are available, and noticed bad reviews! ? I gotta take up for these guys! ? Other than the wait time (which shows they`re busy....hello? ? Is a shoddy shop busy?). These guys are awesome! ? I can trust them and know they are giving it to me straight, which is not always the case with an auto mechanic and a woman. I b... view moreought a groupon for another precision tune expecting the same service, and it turned into a disaster. As a matter-of-fact, I am taking car to these guys today to see what those other guys either messed up or just flat out lied about needing fixing. The other place claims I need a new crank shaft and have oil leak. I had no oil leaking from car UNTIL I took to the other guys and my car is fairly new and still under warranty. I am trusting to find out the truth today because I know these guys are honest. Anyway, just had to stick up for you at Auto Precision Almaden! ? You are awesome! Update: took car in, and guess what?! No leak or repair needed. Honesty!!! Cant beat that.

Precision Tune Auto Care

I`ve never taken the time to write a yelp review in my life, but after my experience at this place I felt that I should share. My mother chose this place (precision tune auto care) to take both our cars to get the oil changed/ basic tune up, because of it`s close proximity to where we live. I didn`t get a good feeling about the place/ the man that worked the counter, when we went there to drop the cars off, but s... view moreince we were just having basic work done, I didn`t worry too much about it. everything looked good after the tune- up, so about two months later, when I decided to get the fuel injectors replaced in my audi, I decided to take my car there again to have them do the work. After I picked up my car, I started noticing that my car was burning through more gas than usual. after carefully documenting every time I pumped gas, and tracking the mileage, It was clear that something was wrong (the car was now getting 8 miles per gallon, as opposed to the 16+ miles per gallon that my car was getting prior to being serviced at Precision Tune Auto Care. I promptly took my car back to Precision Tune auto care and politely explained to the man at the counter that I had just had my fuel injectors replaced there, and that it is now over-fueling. the man called one of his mechanics into the room and they both looked nervously at each other, and began explaining to me why that was not possible. after further insisting, and showing them the documentation and my documented mileage, the man said he would have his men look at it and make the adjustments. he told me that he would call me around 5:00 the next day when it was done. The next day, I never recieved any call, so I called to find out when I could pick up my car. The man on the phone sounded nervous and passed the phone to someone else, who explained to me that they would not look at my car until I payed for a diagnostic. he then denied any sort of responsibility for the work that had been done- saying that I should just wait for awhile and see if anything changed, and then if it wasn`t getting better gas mileage in a month to bring it back to them. he also divulged at that point that they had only replaced one fuel injector (as opposed to all the fuel injectors, which I paid for!!) At that point, I decided to go get my car out of there right away and take my car to a different mechanic who would stand behind their own work! I am currently in the process of starting legal proceedings against Precision tune auto care, (for whatever it`s worth) But my advice to anyone considering this place for any sort of substantial work on their car, - RUN WHILE YOU CAN! THESE PEOPLE DO NOT DO GOOD WORK, NOR DO THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!

These guys are great!

Everytime I think I need any services Shawn and Francisco are honest and tell me whether I really need it or not. They remember what car I drive when I walk in the door and what services I have previously had without checking. We saw Shawn and his family recently at our local church festival and he took the time to come up and say hi and ask how my car was running...now that is awesome customer service!!
