I had all 4 passenger windows tinted on my 2008 Ford Focus using a Formula One tint. This tinting job was performed about a year ago. The installer (can`t remember his name at this time) did a wonderful job. After one year, there are no pin holes or signs of degradation. Staff was kind and courteous. I highly recommend Artistic Solar Films.

Wonderful tint job ... again

We highly recommend Artistic!!! Have had 8 cars done there in 10+ years with minimal issues. Granted, some tinting issues can be more elemental and environmental than issues from the manufacturer/installer. Took a Nissan Coupe in yesterday to have the Pinnacle Formula One tinting done (all around). Yes it`s pricey but it`s accompanied by a no-fault warranty and is the best!!! Also had windshield `Air Blue`d` with a ... view morestrip. They have cheaper options - and many of them - if you don`t want the best of the best. However, I will advise that if you are planning to keep your car or have leather interior just get the Pinnacle. It`ll pay for itself in the gas you save due to a cooler interior during Bama`s 6 months of scorching summer!!! Never had a problem with Steve (Stephen?) or Tom at Artistic, even the one time I`ve had to take a car back. It was simply, `Ok... where`s the key and we`ll take care of it!` I had a Honda Civic Coupe where the seat belt latch was magnetically PULLED to the driver side window every time you let go of it. :) With the no fault warranty, they replaced it for me, no questions asked. No reals cons except that they are almost an hour from me :) and the waiting area could use some revamping. The seating arrangement is small (four chairs) and far from comfortable. I realize that they probably prefer someone not spend 1 - 3 hrs waiting but it`s non-optional for some people. Needs more comfortable seating. Not enough of an issue to make me go elsewhere but does make me not look forward to my visit if I have to wait.

Fast and Good Service. No problems.

I arrived really early one Sat morning. Guy was still turning lights on. I had a new GL450 Mercedes and I wanted to match front windows with back factory tint. He pulled it in and within 15 minutes it was back out front. No bubbles, no marks, perfect tint.

Vehicle Window Tinting

Since most of this review process seems to mainly attract negative reviews, I thought I`d leave a positive. I am a small business owner and make every effort to accommodate every customer. There are always those who cannot be appeased no matter what you do. Tom has done work to every vehicle I`ve bought for the last 15+ years. From tinting to invisible bras, I`ve not had a single problem.

Hook & Catch Advertising

I recently came across an add from Artistic Solar Films as a ""winter special - 50% off film* - of course you know there will be a star by it stating stipulations). The film the special is on is ""Stainless Steel 50 or 35"". This is just that, a stainless steel film, and is nothing but mirrored tint. You might as well put aluminum foil on your windows. Hook and Catch, - get you in the shop thinking you`re getting... view more 50% off film, but they are only offering 50% off stainless steel film which no one buys. Really??? When was the last time you saw a car with mirror (high reflective) tint? But you`re in the shop realizing the tint with the 50% off is the LAST film you would choose for your vehicle, therefore you`re offered something else which is more expensive and there is no discount or coupon, which is a ""hook and catch"", but only a catch if you fall for it. Read their previous reviews. I`ve been there - and have not been a satisfied customer.

Disappointed

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY TINTING WORK. I have had multiple cars up to their shop in the last several months. They have done poor quality work. Tint was installed over dirt and debris, vinyl stripping was not installed correctly and I was not given a refund as requested. I was told that they would ""correct"" the mistakes. The ""correction"" wasn`t much of an improvement over the original work. Tom is the owner and is quite the smooth talker but has horrible customer service follow up. SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH A QUALITY TINT INSTALLER and leave these un-professionals to another customer.

Poor Quality Work

I recently had my mini cooper tinted here, as it was recommended by friends. I checked out their jobs and they looked good. They obviously have someone inexperienced doing their work now though. They failed to remove all the glue from the strip job and retint they did the first time so they redid my car. Now after the redo one window is peeling. On further inspection there are numerous tiny dots under all my win... view moredows. This was a question i asked about and was assured that it would not happen. When i asked them to redo it the manager told me that sometimes it just happens. On the rear window there are visible pieces of dirt between the tint and the window. I will be going by there tomorrow to get them to redo it, or to refund my money.
