Clean Garage Kept Cayenne Turbo.
This Turbo was purchased from Princeton Porsche about 2 years ago. It has been a great car. It was purchased after months of looking for the "right" one. Princeton had just done belts , crossover water pipe (a common issue) . It drives as good as new. All important options like full leather, alcantara roof, Nav, heated seats , heated steering wheel, xenon headlamps with corner lighting, air ride (which has been bullet proof reliable), two sets of wheels (the two tone GTS style are on the Truck right now) and the standard 5 spoke wheels. Both sets of wheels will be included at the buy it now price. Any less and I will be selling the standard 5 spoke wheels separately. Sound system is incredible, lights , handling and power are all fantastic. The truck is quiet on the highway and considering the power output from the beastly twin turbo 4.5 engine it returns pretty decent mpg on the highway. 450hp. 460tq. Its a Porsche. Seriously. That is all you should need to know ( combined with the reasonable bin price) to pull the trigger straight away . It is such an amazing deal. The black interior with the extended leather means that most of the HORRIBLE plastic items on lesser Cayennes are all leather wrapped in this truck. Thus, the interior is an absolute stunner compared with other Cayennes. Seriously , it will have you smiling for miles. Paint wise and exterior wise the truck is very clean. One traffic incident before my ownership saw one of the headlamps replaced and one of the front fenders painted. other than that the truck is original and as good as you are likely to find. The two stone chips and rear bumper scuff are highlighted in the below images and walk around video I have provided. Mechanically This Porsche is very good. I looked for a truck that had always been well maintained and we have done the same. Oil service just performed less than 500 miles ago and within 45 days. The Crank position sensor was replaced about 8 months ago. Tires on both sets of wheels are marginal but both wheel sets have little to no curb rash and all include Painted Porsche crest center caps. The cruise occasionally fails to engage and the brake pad wear indicator light may or may not be on at pick up. The last week it came on and then after I shot the video it went out. Truck is quite , no drive train noise and nothing but smooth shifts and amazing acceleration. Air suspension is perfect. Over all with only 103k miles … you will not find a nicer better spec'd Turbo for the money. Never been used to tow anything. Babied. It's a gem . call or text 614.940.3644 for more details. Text is optimal. Thanks Here are some images from the picasa album available at picasaweb.google.com/myhotrs4
Here is a video walk around of the vehicle including driving footage

Porsche Macan to get four-cylinder engines
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Porsche hasn't offered a four-cylinder engine since the 968 went out of production in 1995 - the better part of two decades ago. There'd been talk of a four-pot Boxster or an even smaller model to slot in below it, but while the latest intel indicates that Porsche is moving ahead with its four-cylinder plans, it's a different kind of vehicle that will get it first.
That, of course, would be the new Macan. Just revealed a few weeks ago at the LA Auto Show, the Macan crossover is being launched with a pair of twin-turbocharged V6 engines (a 3.0 with 340 horsepower and a 3.6 with 400 hp) and a six-cylinder turbodiesel with 258 hp. But smaller engines, according to emerging reports from Autocar and Auto Express, are on their way.
Word has it that Porsche is preparing a 2.0-liter turbo four with 280 horsepower and a diesel with the same displacement and cylinder count, engines that will power new entry-level Macan models that will slot in beneath the existing Macan S, Macan S Diesel and Macan Turbo. While the diesel is tipped to be ported over from the Volkswagen parts bin, the four-cylinder gasoline engine is said to be under development by Porsche itself, which could mean it will have a boxer layout.
Porsche acquires ANDIAL, will integrate with in-house motorsports
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Porsche has purchased longtime motorsports and tuning house ANDIAL.
The Fountain Valley, California-based tuning house ANDIAL has been around since 1975, when it was formed by the Arnold Wagner, Dieter Inzenhofer and Alwin Springer (the company got its name by combining two letters from each of their names). The three men met while working in a Porsche dealership in Southern California and then left to start a business that would put Porsches in victory lane all over the country.
Porsches prepared by ANDIAL won IMSA GT and Supercar Series championships, the SCCA World Challenge, four Pikes Peak class titles and the 24 Hours of Daytona six times. Alwin Springer left the company in 1997 to run Porsche Motorsport North America until 2004 and remains a consultant with PMNA, Wagner passed away in 2011 and Inzenhofer plans to retire this year. ANDIAL is still a going concern, Inzenhofer presiding over a scaled-down engine parts and restoration business. But Inzenhofer is retiring at month's end, making it a good time for Porsche to step in and take over the company's operations.
Porsche 991 vs. 930 Flatnose in 911 Turbo convertible faceoff
Tue, 15 Jul 2014The Porsche 911 Turbo has a legacy of being a tough car to drive. With a ton of power set right over the rear wheels, its reputation is to lose control as soon as the driver stops concentrating. However, this isn't quite so true anymore. The modern ones are tamed through technology with things like hydraulically controlled engine mounts, not to mention all-wheel drive. In its latest video, Autocar tries to decide whether 25 years of progress really makes the turbo a better vehicle.
It's summer, so what better version to compare than the 911 Turbo Cabriolet? In one corner, Autocar has the latest and greatest 2014 version pumping out 513 horsepower and 486 pound-feet of torque with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Its challenger is a 1989 911 flatnose convertible sporting 326 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque. It's a truly rare car in the UK with only eight of them remaining on the roads in that region.
Granted, this test isn't so much a battle as it is a comparison. There's no question that the modern 911 would beat the classic in practically every objective category. What the video aims to find out is whether the flatnose is better in subjective measurements like its "feel." Scroll down to watch these two droptop Porsches square off.
