Selling my Beautiful 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT Fastback with 86,000 miles. V6 2.8L Runs and Drives GREAT! Ready for summer! Great pep and an amazing head turner.

Also includes the stock flip up lights, motors and mounts, they work as well (if you want them). Very cool yellow custom interior and Fiero GT floor mats. No Rust on Frame or in Trunk under rug. Sunroof (removable), Power Doors, Power Locks, Power Mirrors. (All work) Great Yellow paint with some small chips and spider-webbing (very minimal). All lights and markers work. Starts right up every time! Issues: Has a small oil leak occasionally. Rear Deck lid doesn't pop. Could use a new stereo system (Stock is installed), speakers only work on drivers side. New battery (gold top to match the car), car cover. Fiero's in this condition are getting rare, chance to own a beautiful piece of American engineering. This is the only American made production Mid Engine car...ever! I searched for this car for 2 years and I hate to sell it...my Fiero had to have a great body, be a stick (because I love to drive) and be a fastback GT. THIS IS IT! Why I'm selling: I now live and work in downtown Chicago and have been paying $225/mo to park it in a heated garage under my building...its just too expensive for a weekend toy to properly garage it. NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT
Fri, 10 Oct 2014The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious.
