Hello Xterra fans. I have bought a new one so, here is my 2002 Nissan Xterra 3.3 Supercharged! It is a very rare xterra. It features the supercharged motor, the fully loaded interior, the rare Smurf blue color and the premium gun metal wheels. This X was very well maintained. It has had the following in the past 200 miles. Oil change, Good-year heavy duty tires, all new serpentine belts, a full tune up (Wires, Rotor, Cap, Plugs) and air cleaner. There was a recall with something with the heater core, but the dealer took care of it. The Nissan has literally no rust. It was not driven in the salt. I have taken photos of underneath to clear up any concerns! I even uploaded videos. Let me also state that the truck has passed emissions tests. It has no warning lights on the dash. The motor is really quiet and the transmission shifts as it should. The 4x4 locks in and performs as it should. The body is free of any dents or scratches also. It is in great shape! The interior is mint. Very nice. It is true black, with blue accents in the stitching. The carpets show no wear! There is no fading in anything. The pictures do not do this Xterra justice! It has A/c that blows ice cold, heater that blows very hot, cruise control, premium sound with 6 disc cd changer as well as controls on the steering wheel. All power windows and seats work great. No issues or weak motors. It has a little tint on the windows to protect interior from UV rays from the sun. It drives great at 70 mph with no shaking or weird noises. It stops great with no pulsating. The suspension is nice and tight with no noises over bumps etc. The truck has never been in an accident, i have the clear title. It is notarized and all you have to do is sign it and put your price. I live near Cleveland Hopkins airport and I can pick you up there if flying in. I can assist in shipping it at your expense.  I forgot to mention it has 4 Keyless remotes and two keys. I would like to also add that it has a remote start in it. Push a button and it'll fire right up. There are two of those remotes. Here is a perfect example of a very nice Xterra. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. I have the clean Carfax so don't waste your money. Thank you. NO RESERVE!!

Nissan GT-R drag races Swiss fighter jet

Thu, 09 May 2013

Proving that speed is fun in any language, Nissan's German arm recently pitted a GT-R up against an ex-Swiss Air Force fighter jet, called the Hawker Hunter. Now the idea of a car-versus-plane drag race is nothing new, but this is the first time we can recall a GT-R being involved.
While this Nissan video is almost a month old, we're pretty sure you won't be disappointed by the action, which shows the two high-speed machines racing along the two-kilometer runway. We don't want to ruin the suspense, so scroll down for the latest matchup of sports car versus fighter jet.

Nissan exec Andy Palmer derides Toyobaru coupes as 'midlife crisis' cars

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Andy Palmer, Nissan's executive vice president, does not like the Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ. To us, that's like saying you enjoy barbecuing puppies, but we'll let him slide, because his statements about the Toyobaru twins are much, much more than just idle trash talk.
Speaking to Motor Trend's Nate Martinez, Palmer said, "Do we have any competitors [in the small, rear-drive coupe segment]? Are you talking about the Subaru [BRZ]? It was a car designed for a 50-year-old. It's for a midlife crisis. That's not what we do." Strong words, but what followed was even better.
"Are you coming to the Tokyo Motor Show? You'll see the answer to the midlife crisis. Except it won't be for the midlife crisis." So, if you were wondering whether Nissan is working on a competitor to the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ, the answer seems to be a resounding "yes."

Roller coaster or racecar, which pulls more Gs?

Tue, 15 Jul 2014

Looking for a thrill? You're not the only one. You'll find kindred spirits at airfields going up for a skydive, atop bridges and towers with bungees attached to their feet and standing in line for roller coasters at the local amusement park. But you'll also find them in the paddock at the racing circuit.
So what's the commonality? G-force. It's like gravity, only in each of these cases, it's experienced by human invention. But which activity subjects your body to the greatest amount of g-force? That's what Nissan set to find out.
Before putting them back in the cockpit, Nismo sent out two of its young hot-shoes - Jann Mardenborough and Mark Shulzhitskiy - to an amusement park in the UK with a camera and a g-force meter to find out if any of the coasters could produce as much lateral gravitational force as an LMP2 racing car. See what they found in the pair of videos, below.
