This car is in extremely good condition and I have personally serviced and drove the car! I noted the factory features below and what has been in the last six months. (New tires, Brakes, rotors, plug, etc) The car has some wear on the drivers seat. (normal Miata wear on the lower left of the drivers back) The soft top is OEM and has a very small pin-hole size opening behind the passenger window about 12" back. It does not leak in that location, but I do want to make the new owner aware. The car has never been in an accident, repainted, or damaged! It is super clean! Pleas feel free to call my cell phone with any questions: Jason, 317-502-2492 (I would consider adding a Buy-it-Now price to the auction if a solid offer was made) ENGINE / MECHANICAL FEATURES - New Battery 2014 - Recent synthetic Oil Change - April 2014 NEW: tires and brake pads and rotors - 1.8 Liter DOHC 16 Valve Inline 4-Cylinder Engine - 4-Wheel Double Wishbone Independent Suspension. - Front / Rear Stabilizer Bars, Coil Springs - Power Assisted 4-Wheel Disc Brakes - 5-Speed Manual Overdrive Transmission - Rack-and-Pinion Steering EXTERIOR FEATURES - Color: Silver Metallic - Dual Body Color power Mirrors - Soft Convertible Top INTERIOR FEATURES - Leather Sport Bucket Seats - BOSE AM/FM CD Stereo w/Clock (updated the antenna to rubber) - Interior Light - Center Console w/Lockable Compartment - Rear Glass Window w/Defogger - Remote Fuel / Truck Release - Molded Door Trim w/Armrests SAFETY AND SECURITY FEATURES - Dual Air Bags (SRS) |

Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?
Thu, 25 Sep 2014People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.
Mazda launches 25th Anniversary Miata pre-order site, priced from $32,205
Fri, 02 May 2014Mazda made a big celebration of the MX-5 Miata at the 2014 New York Auto Show with a bunch of classic models on display. It capped off the model's 25th birthday with the announcement of the 2015 MX-5 Miata 25th Anniversary Edition and showed off the much-anticipated, next-generation version's chassis.
While we are still at least year away from the new Miata hitting the road, the anniversary edition is on its way and is limited to just 100 copies for the United States. The special cars start at $32,205, compared to $23,970 for the 2015 softtop model and $28,665 for the 2015 retractable hardtop version. There is an additional $795 destination charge for all of them.
To make sure everyone gets a chance to own the ceremonial convertible, Mazda has a countdown on its website until 10:25 AM PDT, May 20, 2014. When the day comes, 250 people can to register for the car, and the first 100 to be verified as buyers get the rare Miata. Those with multiple entries will be disqualified.
Mazda3 to showcase CNG, Hybrid versions in Tokyo
Tue, 22 Oct 2013Mazda has made huge gains in its competitive set with the introduction of its Skyactiv technologies, and the Japanese automaker appears to have no plans on slowing down. While we're still waiting for the Mazda6 Skyactiv-D diesel to go on sale in the US, Mazda announced that it will debut new Skyactiv-Hybrid and Skyactiv-CNG versions of the Mazda3 (standard US-spec model shown above) at next month's Tokyo Motor Show.
Matching up with what we heard earlier in the summer, the Mazda3 Skyactiv-Hybrid is intended for Japan only, but there are no details about this system regarding fuel economy, electric components or specs. Likewise, there are no details for the Mazda3 Skyactiv-CNG Concept, which is a bi-fuel version of the car running on both gasoline and compressed natural gas. As this car's name suggests, the CNG model is a concept vehicle, and there is no indication that Mazda plans offering such a model here in the US.
In addition to these two vehicles, Mazda will also have an Atenza (Mazda6) on display showing off some vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) safety systems, called the ASV-5 (Advanced Safety Vehicle). Scroll down for Mazda's official press release.
