Interior is in great condition with exception of burn mark on driver's seat - see photo Comes with brand new set of WeatherTech floor mats and full set of OEM HSE floor mats in good condition Tires are all in great condition, estimated at 80% tread remaining. All matching on factory original 18" HSE wheels. Windows all work, heated seats work, sunroofs both open and close as they should. Everything that was tested works as new. Air suspension sags when left for about two weeks (as shown in photos). Will rise when vehicle is running. Compressor works. Passed Maine state inspection shortly before headgasket went. HSE model so it has all the options. Cold weather package Dual sunroofs Hydraulic rear step Subwoofer and Harmon Kardon stereo (upgraded Kenwood head unit but all speakers are stock HK). Hill descent control Cruise control Park distance control Fog lights Plenty more Engine torn down to expose heads for removal. Some head bolts removed. One head bolt on driver's side is rounded off. Have not checked passenger side. All parts, nuts, bolts, pieces are included and are organized and labeled. Front bumper center section cracked - see photos Front sunroof leaks in heavy rain I bought this from a friend with the intention of fixing it and driving it but I have too much work right now to get started on it. It's been sitting at my shop for about two months. I work with Land Rovers all day and I was excited to buy this particular one because of the condition, mileage, and model. It will be a great truck for someone once the heads are done. To do the head gaskets can run $1600-2000, depending on the shop, and that includes machining of the heads. Vehicle is sold AS IS, WHERE IS. I've represented this vehicle to the best of my abilities but it is up to the buyer to verify all information before purchase. The truck is available to look at Monday-Friday 10-6 and most weekends and a pre-purchase inspection is recommended. Check my history for other vehicles I've sold on here, including another Land Rover just like this one, a Jaguar XJR, and most recently a Mercedes S500. |

Jaguar Land Rover calls in handful of vehicles over suspension bolts
Thu, 24 Apr 2014With most recalls seemingly affecting mass-market vehicles, it'd be all too easy to assume, consciously or otherwise, that higher-end automobiles never face such issues. But the main reason we don't see the NHTSA recalling more luxury automobiles isn't because of their quality, we'd postulate: it's because of their relative scarcity.
Take Jaguar Land Rover, recalls of whose vehicles we only seem to have cause to report about once a year. So if you're figuring they're about due, here you go. The Indian-owned British auto group has just announced two recalls, both regarding suspension components: one affecting Jaguars and another concerning - you guessed it - Land Rovers.
First up we have a recall for 2013 to 2014 model year Jaguar XJ, XF and XK models - a whopping 297 of them - which have been found to have problematic toe links. Separation of the toe link from the rear sub-frame could result in impaired stability and control over the vehicle's direction, so JLR is calling them in to replace the nuts and washers on the rear toe links.
These are the top luxury cars bought by people entering the segment for the first time
Fri, 25 Jul 2014Let's say you just got a big promotion at work or the kids are moving out of the house, and you finally have some extra money. You decide to blow it all at once and treat yourself by upgrading your ride. Naturally, you look to a luxury automaker. What do you choose?
Models like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class may be tailor-made to introduce buyers to the premium segment, but a new study finds that they don't garner the highest rates of non-luxury customer conquests. It turns out that a Volvo leads among folks moving up to a premium brand, and it isn't even one that's made anymore, at that.
A recent study by Polk and IHS Automotive looked at what models had the highest rates of buyers upgrading from a non-luxury segment. The information comes from its new vehicle registration data through April 2014. All ten top models boasted conquest rates of over 50 percent, but the Volvo C70 led the field with 68.01 percent of its customers coming from non-premium brands.
Jaguar and Land Rover to consolidate dealerships
Thu, 29 Nov 2012Jaguar and Land Rover are set to merge their sales facilities, according to Inside Line. Jaguar Land Rover North America President Andy Gross says 45 percent of Jaguar owners also have an SUV in their stable, so it makes sense to give customers as much exposure to the cat's high-riding cousins and possible. The number of overall outlets will remain the same, and the brands will reportedly remain separate on the showroom floor, however.
So far, just one dealer has made the move to combine under the roof of one 68,000 square-foot facility in Paramus, New Jersey (above), though a further 20 are ready to make the shift and become Jaguar Land Rover outlets. Gross believes the shift is necessary so that his company's dealer network will accurately reflect the company's products. We'll see how cozy the brands are when Jaguar starts rolling out its own SUVs in a few years.
