Ok ...I'm sure I'll leave out something...so if you need to ask a guestion..that will be just fine...This car is loaded...5.7 Liter Hemi engine runs smooth and strong..heated seats...rear control of A/C-Heat, 7 seater with middle and back seats collapsing to give big loading interior...the CD/FM/AM/SAT/DVD/MP3/JJB/Computerized CD works great...I like playing a cd then storing it in the car's computer so I can just go to it anytime I want w/o looking for the cd...It has a couple of issues. There are a couple of minor ...and just a couple you'd have to search to find scratches or imperfections on the bumpers hardly noticable(see photos) also, there was a hail storm here a few years ago and the front hood took some blows but nothing that ever bothered me so they are still there...find them in the sunlight at a certain angle...hardly an issue just thought I'd mention all I could think of...I am listing the car at $2500 below the Blue Book so get a fine vehicle to last you many more years ..

It has never been wrecked prior to my purchase...I've driven the last ~40,000 miles and no wrecks with me except a side scraper when I hit some ice at ~20 miles an hour two months ago that landed me along a wooden fence..everything was professionally repaired just cosmetic... My wife and I drove to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico with no problems and I'd keep the car but I will need a truck for business purposes in Mexico where we are planning to move. Rubber on the tires is good...the spare has never been used...all paint is wonderful....towing package I bought when I got a small trailer to haul brush etc in. Backup camera & beep alert when backing up....auto sensing wipers and auto sensing lights....great leather etc...Here is a link to me showing the remote starting keys   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70a-PxXxuEg   ..remote locks/locking...and back window remote control...You can leave a pet in the car push the romote control starting which locks the doors and starts the car for A/C heta and it will run for 15 miniutes which you make a quick errand...need it longer just remotely start again....the dog will not burn!  Clean as a pin and ready to go. When you come to pick up the car, you will not be disappointed...drive it home anywhere you live..

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee pricing leaks out

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

With our deep dive and auto show coverage of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, we brought you as much information as Chrysler would allow us to, but one thing we're still left in the dark about was the pricing. It would seem that Jeep Garage might have the answer for that. The Jeep enthusiast forum claims to have gotten its hands on the ordering and pricing breakdown for the updated Grand Cherokee, and while a Jeep representative has yet to get back to us as to the validity of the site's claim, these preliminary numbers look pretty kosher to us.
In base form, the two-wheel-drive Laredo will reportedly start at $28,795, which is a $1,100 increase over the 2013 model year, and the new Grand Cherokee Summit trim level starts at $47,995 for 4x2 models and $50,995 for the 4x4. Waiting for the new diesel engine? The torquey new 3.0-liter oil-burner will be a $4,500 option on Limited, Overland and Summit 4x4 models, but 4x2 pricing (and availability) are not known. As for the range-topping Grand Cherokee SRT (no longer called the SRT8), this added performance could run you an extra $2,700 with a new starting price of $62,995. More importantly, loaded to the gills with all available options, the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT will top out at around $72,400 - or around $6,000 more than a fully loaded 2013 GC SRT8.
We'll let you know if the gang over at Jeep get back to us with any confirmation, but until then, head over to Jeep Garage to see the pricing details it has listed.

Federal investigations about safety of rear-mounted gas tanks is nothing new

Sun, 09 Jun 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Chrysler are currently making waves in our daily news feeds due to a disagreement over the safety of a few million Jeep Liberty and Grand Cherokee models. Specifically, NHTSA has asked Chrysler to recall the SUVs because of the location of their fuel tanks, but you may be interested to know that requests such as this are nothing new.
Besides the two Jeep models, NHTSA has launched investigations over the years in such models as the Ford Crown Victoria (and its police-car counterpart), GM pickups built between 1972 and 1987, and rather famously the Ford Pinto.
Understanding how automakers and NHTSA have dealt with fuel-tank-safety concerns in the past may offer a better understanding of how Chrysler and the government agency will settle their current dispute. Check out the complete article from The Detroit News here.

Jeep Cherokee faces on-sale delay

Sat, 23 Mar 2013

A report in The Wall Street Journal looks at some of the obstacles to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee that go beyond its mootable yet "very contemporary" looks, almost all of them based on Fiat's financial position. Starting with that sheetmetal, in defense of it SRT president Ralph Gilles and Jeep design head Mark Allen said they wanted to "make sure the design still looks modern five years from now."
The WSJ piece doesn't cite longevity as a factor, instead saying that its features originated in a design for an Alfa Romeo, the transformation into a Jeep design meant allowing Chrysler get it to market more quickly and save "hundreds of millions of dollars" in engineering.
The need for Fiat to save money while it weathers the European situation has cut budgets for development, engineering and the pace of retooling the Toledo, Ohio plant to build the Cherokee. In a familiar case of snowballing at work, among the effects will be pushing back the Cherokee's volume sales date and delaying updates to some of Chrysler's other products.
