Bought the truck as a hot rod or rat rod project from a company that does custom car and truck audio installs. Every year they would do a new project ride to showcase their audio abilities at shows. This was their project car/truck and were into it for about $18,000. All work done by top professionals since this was going to be their showcase truck.

The frame is from a S10 pickup modified for the airbag suspension (installed). The axles are recessed so the truck can be lowered. The cab and truck bed is a 1951 F100 Ford pickup with new cab floor. There is no body parts forward of the firewall or rear fenders. The cab has been channeled to sit lower on the frame. Comes with an antique John Deere grill for front end.

Professionally built small block Chevy with a hot cam. It was built by a professional racing shop.
Rebuilt transmission
Cadillac steering column
Wiring harness
Windshield
Nice wheels and tires, old school Centerline smoothies with Proxies
All parts needed to finish the truck, except the pedal assembly, headlights and seats.

Body needs to be bolted to frame, wiring needs to be installed, there's no seats for cab, new cab floor due to channeling. Gauges are there, but not sure if they work, steering column and pedal assembly needs installed. There has been a slight body repair just forward of the driver's side door that can be seen in the pics. There is very light surface rust that will easily be sanded out as seen in the pics.

RTR Spec 5 Concept shows off 2015 Ford Mustang's drifty potential

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Meet the Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5 Concept, a fully functional drift car that, according to our team in Sin City, has been doling out demo drifts in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Destined to be the flagship of RTR's Tactical Performance Line, the Spec 5 Concept is, in addition to its 5.0-liter Aluminator V8 engine, chock full of performance parts that you can buy for your very own 2015 Mustang. In addition to the Ford Racing engine, the OEM parts supplier has lent the Spec 5 an aluminum radiator and a close-ratio six-speed transmission.
ASD Motorsports provided the front lower control arms, while the car itself rides on a fully customized coilover suspension. Magnaflow and American Racing have provided the exhaust system and headers, respectively. 20-inch HRE wheels, designed for RTR, are wrapped in sticky Nitto rubber.

Solid axle? What solid axle?
I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation.
This should not have gone this easily. Having a long and checkered history of simple projects punctuated by much wailing and gnashing of knuckles, I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation when I finally decided to lay hands on the '89 Mustang with the goal of relieving the car of its stock rear axle. Instead, it took less than a full morning's worth of work to carve the old 7.5-inch solid axle from its moorings and mock up something, well, different.

2015 Ford Mustang GT [w/video]

Fri, 19 Sep 2014

At 50 years old, the object of fantasies, a tuner's dream, a movie star and more than nine million strong, it couldn't be truer to say that the Ford Mustang needs no introduction. This newest Mustang, however - making the biggest changes we've seen to the pony car since perhaps 1964.5 - is something Ford has been introducing all year.
We went on a Deep Dive, covered the way it looks when it was revealed, detailed the engine specs, got a ride in the EcoBoost and listened to the V8, got rolling footage and watched it do a standard-feature burnout.
The only thing left to do? Drive it. Having now done so for a few hours around Los Angeles, what we can tell you is to forget everything you know about the Mustang. This new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment.
