I (Don) am a long time friend of Ralph’s and have owned three of his cars. He does great work in a careful, no compromise manner. He runs a small shop that has been in business a long time. I am listing Ralph’s Challenger as a favor to him—he is overwhelmed with a long cue of work. He did this great car for his son who now would prefer the money to buy a house for his young family.

BACKGROUND: This beautiful muscle car is the famous1973 Dodge Challenger. Chrysler’s E-body platform debuted in 1970 as a base for Plymouth’s latest Barracuda and Dodge’s all-new Challenger. Rolling on a 110 inch wheelbase, the Challenger appeared in hardtop and convertible forms with either six-cylinder or V8 power. Standard for the R/T, offered from 1970 to ’71, was the 335-horsepower 383 Magnum V8. This is not the R/T option which included a 375-horse 440, 390-horse 440 Six Pack, and 425-horse 426 Hemi. The 383 V8-powered Challenger Rallye hardtop was the hottest model available from 1972 to ’74. This particular Challenger was purchased as a restoration project three years ago and underwent a complete frame off disassembly and re-assembled as resto rod.
