Produced on January 27th, 1967, this stunning Bright Red over Red R/T is the recipient of a 4 year old rotisserie restoration. Built at the Lynch Road Plant, the car was first sold in Maryland. The were 9,826 Coronet R/Ts built for the US and this car is #39 of 52 in VIN sequence of all 1967 440 4BBL Dodge Coronet R/Ts accounted for at the Lynch Road plant. The car comes with an original build sheet, and the Dodge Certicard. The original documentation and ID numbers were sent to Galen Govier and that documentation accompanies the vehicle.

During the restoration, the car was stripped down to the uni-body, and the metal was completely stripped bare. The car has great body work and a bright new base/clear paint job. The undercarriage is just as nice as the top side of this car and in finished in the same bright red hue. During the restoration, every nut and bolt on the car was handled and the Coronet drives like it would have back in the day. All of the trim pieces are restored original parts and the glass is very good condition original glass. The chrome has been redone, and of course all the rubber is brand new all the way around the car. The interior is all new from Legendary and is equipped per original spec with the exception of some more accurate knee knocker gauges.

The suspension and brakes on the Dodge were completely sorted during the restoration. Per its original specification, the car is equipped with powersteering and HD manual drums. It also came equipped with the Hemi suspension with a .94" diameter sway bar, Hemi torsion bars, and "firm ride" shocks.

The motor was built on the 5th of December, two months before the car was built, and has the "HD" designation on the front pad. Until 1968, VIN numbers were not stamped on motors, however, with the casting number and date code, this is as close as you can get pre-1968 to proving a 440 RB block is "matching numbers." The Torqueflite transmission and the 8.75 axle with the 3.23 Suregrip rear end also line up with the build date of the car. The motor makes killer power out of the hole and the transmission keeps up perfectly. The engine runs perfectly on high octane pump gas, and the original/restored radiator keeps engine temps at bay.

Besides being of high cosmetic quality, this R/T has high mechanical standards as well and has been fully sorted. If you are looking for a driveable show car, this Dodge will make it happen.
