Dream Car Autohaus is offering for sale this 1973 Triumph TR-6.  This car has come out of storage from one of our clients where it has sat in his garage for over twenty years!

Finished in Pimento Red (code 72) with Black interior (the original interior from the door code was Chestnut) this car is a solid driver.  The underside is in great shape and as you can see from the photos there is some surface bubbles and rust starting to come through.

The owner has decided that he wanted to drive the car again after many years and had new tires and a top put on the car but other projects became pressing so the car was never driven.

The engine is the inline 6 with twin carburetors and a 4 speed transmission.  The interior is in good shape with the seats and dash still intact.

As you can see from the photos the paint is in decent shape with the few items mentioned about the paint, there is a dent in the trunk from the owner backing into a pole but the car is complete.

The odometer is showing 59,185 miles and we cannot confirm this is the true mileage so the car is being sold exempt.  The engine starts right up and runs good.  The engine stamp #CF986UE and is one of the early engines from 1973.

New Jersey residents will be required to pay sales tax at the time of delivery.  There is a $250 document fee for title and registration services which includes a 30 day in state temporary tag.

Out of state buyers will be billed a document fee if you wish to have a 20 day out of state temporary tag placed on the vehicle prior to delivery. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, title and licensing fees in your area.

We accept the following forms of payment, Visa, American Express, MasterCard & Discover card, certified bank checks, bank to bank wire transfers and cash in person at time of delivery. Personal checks are accepted but must clear before the car can be delivered. If the deposit is not received within twenty-forty hours (1 business day) or if the sale is not complete within 7 days of the close of the auction, we reserve the right to sell to the next highest bidder or to another qualified buyer. ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please be aware that you will be responsible for the Federal Reserve fee(s) charged for all incoming wires).

Once you place a bid you are entering into a legal binding contract and in doing so agree that if you are the winning bidder you will make all attempts to follow the rules and regulations as listed by the auction company to purchase the car. We reserve the right to hire legal counsel at the buyer’s expense to help collect monies owed if a purchased item remains unpaid for more than 10 business days.

Seller reserves the right to end the listing(s) at any time should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. Professional pre-purchase inspections (PPI) are welcome but must be scheduled and completed prior to the auction ending. We have described the advertised vehicle to the best of our ability. However, with all pre-owned automobiles, the condition is subjective, so we recommend that the potential buyer make arrangements to inspect as well as test drive the vehicle before finalizing purchase. If a personal inspection is not possible, we will be glad to help facilitate an inspection by your chosen local independent service center and will make arrangements to deliver the vehicle to them for this purpose.
