Highlights

Being offered is a highly desirable and hard to find 1968 C10 ½ ton, step side, short bed pickup.  Coming out of Tennessee, this truck looks and operates great.  This rust free C10 received a beautiful restoration and paint job.  It is weekend show quality and can be reliably driven anywhere.  It has a great color combination and is fun to drive.

Details

The condition of the entire truck is super nice.  The paint looks great, there are no runs, chips or nicks or dings anywhere.  There are no swirl marks.  The orange shines like a mirror as the pics show.  The step side bed is all new with a new oak floor and spacers.  It shows like new, there are no scrapes or scratches of any kind.  The tailgate is straight and is flawless.

All chrome bumpers were installed.  The grill is like new with no chips or dings.  The mirrors are like new.  The windshield and windows are in very nice condition with no noticeable scratches or pitting.

Under the hood sits a powerful rebuilt 400 small block Chevy motor.  It has a nice cam giving the truck a little attitude.  It is quick.  The engine bay is detailed and presents well.  All the belts have been replaced as has the battery.  It has just been serviced and is ready to go.  The truck does not smoke when started or running.  There are no leaks. Vintage A/C can be added for an additional cost.

The interior is nice as well.  The seat and carpet are new.  The dash is stock and has no cracks or any flaws.  The headliner is in as new condition.  The truck has a full working instrument package including tachometer, oil pressure, temperature and voltage meters.

Mechanically the truck starts, runs and drives perfectly.  It is a pleasure to operate with its power steering and power front disc brakes. The small block 400 V8 engine and TH350 automatic transmission all operate smoothly.  The underside is very neat and tidy.  The frame is like new.  The brakes, shocks and suspension have all been replaced or rebuilt.

You are welcome and encouraged to conduct a pre-purchase inspection of the vehicle.   The buyer of this car can be assured he is buying a quality and reliable vehicle.  It is available in my Richmond, Indiana showroom for viewing and a test drive.

If you are looking for a great and desirable pick up, this truck car deserves a look. The pricing on this C10 represents a good value for its rarity, quality and condition. If you have any questions on it or make an offer to purchase, please give me a call at 765-994-9972.  Most of my eBay auctions end with a phone call and a negotiated deal.

About Us

I have been a classic car collector for many years. I've turned my love of classic cars into a second career by opening Hoosier Classic Motorcars.  Because I am a smaller dealer, I can carefully choose the cars I buy. Sometimes I buy for my own use and collection, but I always do my best to acquire only high quality, sound cars.  I try to describe them accurately and honestly, so you get a realistic idea of what I have available.

To ensure my customer's comfort in buying a classic car, I offer an optional warranty on the drive line and other components.  I want the relationship with all my customers to continue after the sale.

Email, call or stop by my showroom in Richmond Indiana with any questions, I love to talk about cars!
