General Terms

These General Terms are in addition to all other terms and conditions that this auction is subject to, including, but not limited to, all term and conditions of eBay and eBay Motors. 

Bidders must be at least 18 years of age, aUSresident, possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.  Federal and state laws in which this dealership is located will apply to sales transactions.  The Seller reserves the right to end the auction early for any reason.

Retail Sale

The vehicle being auctioned is subject to retail sale up to the time the auction closes and a winning bidder is determined.  Should the vehicle sell before the auction closes, this auction shall be null and void, even if the vehicle sells for less than the eventual high bidder.

Winning Bidder
The Winning bidder must contact seller within 24-hours of close of auction to proceed with deposit, payment, and delivery arrangements.  The Winning bidder must agree to sign all of Seller’s standard sale documents (i.e., the Winning bidder agrees to sign all documents required by Seller if the Winning Bidder was buying directly from Seller at Seller’s physical place of business).

Deposit

A deposit of $1,000 must be received by the seller within 48-hours of the close of the auction.  The deposit can be remitted to seller by calling the Seller’s representative and providing a credit card number for payment.  

Accepted forms of payment
We accept wire transfers, cashier’s checks, US Postal Service money orders, and cash.  Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express credit cards are accepted for the deposit amount.  Vehicle will not be released until checks have cleared our bank.

Inspection by buyer
Seller strives to accurately describe and represent this vehicle.  We invite and recommend that bidder(s) or bidder’s agent to personally inspect the vehicle being auctioned.  This inspection must be performed prior to the end of the auction.  Charges associated with an inspection are the responsibility of the bidder(s).

Warranties

New vehicles are backed by manufactures’ limited warranties.  Please contact seller’s representative for details.

Used vehicles may be covered by manufacturers’ or seller’s limited warranties.  Please contact seller’s representative for details.

Final payment
An acceptable form of final payment must be received within 7 days of the close of this auction.  All funds must clear our bank before the vehicle will be released.  We can also arrange financing through one of our many lenders, subject to credit approval.  Please inquire in advance of the close of the auction.  If bidder is securing financing on their own, please make arrangements before close of the auction in order to comply with the payment requirements.

Shipping
The cost of shipping lies solely with the buyer.  Transportation can be arranged through eBay Motors or we may have other suggestions.  Seller is responsible for the vehicle’s condition only until it is picked up by a transporter.  If you desire to take delivery of your purchase in person, we will gladly pick you up at a nearby transportation terminal.

Failure to Comply with these Terms

Failure by the winning bidder to comply with any of these terms and/or any of the terms of eBay and/or eBay Motors shall allow Seller, as its non-exclusive remedy, to cancel the auction and/or vacate the Winning bid.

Fees and Taxes

There will be additional charges for California government fees and taxes, any finance charges, any dealer document preparation charge, and any emission testing charge.  Buyers residing in states other than California are responsible for temporary permits, processing fee and any applicable taxes, registration, emission tests, and license and title fees for the state in which they reside.
