Created by Pininfarina, the F430 Spider is inspired by Formula 1. The nose, which is characterized by two distinctive air intakes, draws inspiration from the Ferrari 156 F1 car that Phil Hill drove to his World Championship title in 1961. The Enzo Ferrari was the inspiration for much of the rear styling of the new F430 Spider, and the Ferrari's meticulous aerodynamic detailing is reflected in the design of the nolder incorporated into the engine cover and the new rear diffuser integrated into the bumper, which boasts race-derived dimensions.

Extreme care has also been lavished on designing the exterior details. The wing mirrors now have specially profiled twin mounting arms that channel air flow to the engine intakes, and the F430 name has been embossed on the back of the driver's side mirror. Even the finish of the engine bay is a work of art in terms of its distinctive shape and materials.

The heart of every Ferrari is it's engine and this one is powered by a dual overhead camshaft 4.3L V8 with 4-valves per cylinder through an F1 paddle shift 6-speed sequential gearbox which is always on display via the clear panel on the engine cover.

The Bordeaux Connolly leather interior features factory options like electrically operated Daytona style seats, carbon fiber lower cabin zone, color matching roll bar upholstery and a high power stereo with subwoofer. The Formula 1 inspired steering wheel features paddle shifters as well as the now famous Manettino that switches driving modes with Ice, Low Grip and Sport to choose from.

The Nero (black) painted exterior is contrasted by Scuderia Ferrari shields on the front fenders along with Rosso Scuderia disc brake calipers. Ball polished rims and a carbon fiber rear segment top off the list of optional equipment featured on this car.
