Up for auction is my 55 Chevy 3100 1^st series pickup truck. This truck is an older restoration which has been very well maintained and serviced and the truck is dependable and it runs and drives excellent.

The body & paint has a few bumps and bruises however it still looks very nice as you can see in the pictures. The panels fit great and the doors shut nice and solid. No need to slam these doors! The truck is straight down the sides and it’s a quality truck. All of the glass is excellent, the chrome bumpers front and rear and the trim and bright work are nice as well. The body is all steel. It has a new black wood bed with stainless strips. It’s a good looking truck and it runs very well also.

The interior is restored original and the gauges all work and they light up bright at night. The heater works. The dash, seat, floor, everything is nice.

The engine is the original 235 cid Thriftmaster inline 6 cylinder and it runs perfect. The motor starts up with turn of the key and will run all day if you want it to. It is tuned properly and in very good restored condition. The clutch is adjusted properly and the transmission shifts as smooth as silk. It brakes good and straight. I had the truck gone over from one end to the other last week and every nut and bolt on this truck was checked and tightened when necessary and every grease fitting was lubed, and the oil, filter, and all fluids were changed and serviced. The carburetor was tuned and this truck is dialed in and ready to go! It has new shocks, new front leaf springs, new fuel tank and sending unit, new fuel pump, and on and on.

The truck rides and drives straight and true down the highway and it is a true pleasure to drive. I really wish that I could keep this one but it has to go.

These trucks are really in high demand right now and nice trucks like this one are hard to find. It’s an investment.

I can pick you up at the Augusta GA or the Thomson GA (small aircraft) airport on almost any day except Sunday. Fly here and Drive her home!
