    1964 FORD GALAXIE 500XL 390

     

    Washington

     

    This is a real clean 1964 FORD GALXIE 500XL with the Z code 390. I bought her the second owner and this car has been in the same area for all its life. It is a Washington car and has no rust issues. She has fresh paint, nice spinners, original motor, trunk mat and is a real sweet driver. VERY TURN KEY!

    I would say the very best part of this car is the mechanics, the original 390 hums and has been tuned, lubed and ready for any kind of trip. The 3 speed trans is rock solid and the brakes have been redone in last year so it is just a car you can get in and turn. She has 95k original miles and in the 80's and most of the 90's she was left in a garage and was very dormant.

     

    The interior is just clean. Nice rip free interior with everyhting including chrome being in real good shape. Nothing stand out as a serious issue. Dash is real nice.

     

    The paint is a fresh clear coat base coat and has a good shine in her original coral that my understanding was a special order color because its as close as you can get to the original. Very pretty color. In some of the pics the paint looked washed out because of the sun but the darker photos show the car in its true color.

     

    UNDER CARRAIGE IS TOTALLY VOID OF RUST AND IS VERY SOLID! As is the trunk pan with only very minor surface rust and nothing major. The original trunk mat is there with spare and jack. The body is super straight with no bondo or bubbles and the chrome is very nice with the back bumper not quite as good as fron but still shines like the pics show. trim is really good with only a few little dings here and there. All badnes are in good shape with nice spinner hubs.

     

    THIS IS A VERY SOLID DRIVER THAT WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN! 96k original and alway in Washington....A REAL GOOD ONE!
