The Porsche Panamera (type number 970) is a luxury four-door saloon. It is front-engined with rear-wheel drive, with four-wheel drive versions also available.
The Porsche Panamera production model was unveiled at the 13th Auto Shanghai International Automobile Show in Shanghai, China, on April 2009. In 2011, hybrid and diesel versions were launched. In April 2013, a facelift to the Panamera was announced, launching again at the Auto Shanghai show. A plug-in hybrid version, the Panamera S E-Hybrid, was released in the U.S. market in November 2013.
Concept and description
The Panamera's name is derived, like the Porsche Carrera line, from the Carrera Panamericana race. The Panamera is generally considered to be the long-awaited fruit of Porsche's 989 concept from the late 1980s.
Like the Porsche Cayenne SUV (which has become the marque's best-selling vehicle), the Panamera upset many Porsche purists, since it was seen as an attempt to broaden Porsche's appeal beyond that of hardcore fans. The Panamera ran contrary to the company's signature offerings, particularly its light two-door rear-engine sports cars like the 911. The Panamera on the other hand is considered a full-size luxury car, weighing nearly 4,000 pounds (1,800 kg), with four doors, and its engine mounted in the front. The Panamera's appearance with its long hood and rear hatch bears little resemblance to a stretched 911, although it does resemble the 911 from certain angles. The iconic 911 has a sparse interior, as it was focused on raw performance, while the Panamera has a sumptuous interior loaded with modern technological amenities and expensive leather upholstery.
Production
Engines are first assembled in Stuttgart, and the car's body is built and painted at the Volkswagen Group facility in Hannover. The final assembly of the vehicle takes place in Leipzig, Germany, alongside the Cayenne.
Production began in April 2009, one month after its debut in the Shanghai Motor Show in China.
Porsche has applied for patents on a four-door convertible version of the Panamera that keep the same general dimensions
First generation
The V8-powered Panamera S, 4S, and Turbo models were the first versions that debuted in 2009. In addition to the 4.8L Twin Turbo 500 bhp (373 kW; 507 PS) V8, Porsche launched two further models in 2010: the Panamera and Panamera 4 which are both powered by 3.6-litre V6 engines producing 300 bhp (224 kW; 304 PS).
Being derived from the V8 engine of the Panamera S and Panamera 4S, the V6 retains the V8's technologies like Direct Fuel Injection, infinitely variable intake camshaft adjustment with variable valve lift (VarioCam Plus), an on-demand oil pump, water cooling with thermal management, a variable intake manifold, as well as integrated dry sump lubrication with two-stage extraction of oil, and an Auto Start-Stop function (only with the PDK transmission).[16] Turbo version uses active aerodynamics with a multi-stage, adjustable rear spoiler.[17] Optional Sports Chrono Packages include a Sport Plus button, which has tighter damping and air springs, and lowers the car body by 25 mm (1.0 in).[18]
In 2011, the Panamera S Hybrid,[19] Diesel,[20] Turbo S[21] and GTS variants were added to the range.
The Panamera, S, Hybrid and Diesel models are rear-wheel drive, while the Panamera 4, 4S and GTS have the same four-wheel drive system as the Turbo and Turbo S, called Porsche Traction Management (PTM).
Transmissions
The new ZF seven-speed PDK dual clutch transmission is standard on the Panamera 4, 4S and Turbo models.[22][23] With the addition of the optional sport chrono package, this provides faster acceleration times. In some markets a six-speed manual is available for rear-wheel drive petrol versions. The S Hybrid and Diesel models have an Aisin-supplied eight-speed automatic transmission called Tiptronic S.
First generation (facelift)
2013 Panamera edition
Porsche announced its updated Panamera on 3 April 2013, with a scheduled formal launch at Auto Shanghai. The revised model can be identified by new front and rear bumpers and some technical changes included the addition of a new 3.0L twin turbocharged Panamera S and a new E-Hybrid model. A long wheelbase version with an additional 150 mm will be available for selected left-hand drive markets, and the Turbo S is scheduled to follow in 2014. The long wheelbase versions are only available on 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S models.

Payment Terms:
The successful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.
Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

only acceptable form of payment unless otherwise specified by
an authorized representative. Please have all funds available

released for delivery and/or shipping upon proof of valid and
cleared funds.
DEPOSITS:

All vehicles remain available for sale until full payment
or agreed upon deposit is received by Celebrity Cars Las
Vegas When a deposit is received , the vehicle is taken off
the market and other buyers may be lost. All deposits are
only refundable at the sellers discretion. Please do not
place a deposit on any vehicle unless you intend to purchase
the car . Deposits are generally only accepted if the seller
deems it appropriate for the buyer to have additional time to
arrange for funds availability, financing, inspection etc. We
do not accept deposits to hold a car so the buyer can "think
about it".
ADDITIONAL TAXES AND FEES:
We do charge a $395.00 documentation
fee on each retail sale which includes a temporary tag
when applicable, motor vehicle documents and transfers and
miscellaneous expenses including clerical fees, notary fees
and Federal Express and US mail charges. This documentation
fee also includes profit to the dealership. This fee will not
be discounted or waived under any circumstance. Buyers are
responsible for all state, county and local taxes and fees as
well as any registration and title fees applicable in and
required by the state in which the buyer will register and
title the vehicle. Buyer is responsible for any expenses ,
tax and fees should they export the car outside of the US. In the event of an out of state sale the
buyer is responsible for consulting with their state's DMV regarding the requirements for acquiring a
temporary driving permit. Nevada law only allows for us to provide a 15 day drive away permit for
out of state residents who physically pickup their vehicle. Vehicles shipped out of state will not be
provided with a drive away permit.
SHIPPING:
Celebrity Cars Las Vegas will be happy to assist buyer
with transportation arrangements within the US borders when
necessary to take advantage of our volume discounts. The
buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and are
generally paid COD when the car arrives directly to the
transporter. Celebrity Cars Las Vegas assumes no
responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves
our premises . Celebrity Cars Las Vegas cannot be held
responsible for any delays in shipping as it is beyond our
control. We will do our best in estimating shipping dates and
times to make the delivery as timely and smooth as possible.
Celebrity Cars Las Vegas in no way represents or implies as
to any vehicles legal ability to be exported outside of the
US. Should you decide to come to our showroom for delivery,
we would be happy to help with your transportation
arrangements and also arrange to pick you up from the airport

buyer should have expectations of "typical" dings and or
chips and scratches that are consistent with the year and
mileage on the vehicle. Buyers are provided with all
additional items that were provided to us with the vehicle.
Buyers are to expect that NOT all used vehicles will be
provided with full sets of keys, books, CD magazines,
Navigation Discs, floor mats or the like, NOR will all cars
be accompanied by detailed service records etc. Celebrity
Cars Las Vegas will not be held responsible to provide any
additional items other than represented as with the car
unless detailed in writing by an authorized representative.
We welcome an independent inspection of the vehicle prior to
purchase. All costs and arrangements for such inspections are
the responsibility of the buyer. All inspections are to be
performed on premises or to be arranged at an outside
facility on the approval of Celebrity Cars Las Vegas. Please
call if you need recommendations of inspection services
available in Las Vegas. We will review any issues or concerns
that develop as a result of an inspection and will make
repairs, adjustments, or concessions at our sole discretion.
Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
