This one just in... 1964 Ford Custom also known as a "boxtop" 2 door sedan. The car is an original Colorado car and eventually made its way to TX. A super solid car with no undercoating or patches underneath. The paint is in great condition with no bubbles, I would rate the paint at a 8 out of 10. The cars chrome and britework is very nice as is the rubber and glass. The builder chose Argent silver for the bumpers and it suites the car well. The powerplant is a 390 FE with a 4 barrel carb. The engine bay is top notch, detailed very nice with all of the decals and pencil marks. The engine runs great with lots of power and its backed by a top loader 4 speed which shifts out just as it should. The rear axle is a 9 inch with a 3:00 gear for trouble free cruising at highway speeds. The wheel and tire combo fit the car perfectly with no rubbing issues. American Racing Torque Thrust were used, 20x9.5 and 18x8 with new speed rated radials. The car was lowered 3 inches with shorter coils up front and 3 inch blocks in the rear, it was done properly so the car still has a great ride. On the inside we have a new stunning red interior. NOS material was ordered for the seat inserts and a high grade red leatherlike material was used everywhere else. The dash and other moldings were color keyed to match the rest of the interior. The car is trouble free to drive with everything in working condition. The wipers do run but the builder chose to remove the wiper arms. This is a great car that is very enjoyable to drive.
