1986 Isuzu Trooper II 2.2L Turbo Diesel 4x4 4door DLX.  I'm the 4th owner and I’ve put about 15,000+ miles on it thus far. Regular maintenance has always been up kept and I will include all maintenance records, receipts and original owners manual as well as Chilton’s service manual. This fuel saving Isuzu Trooper II has always been in dry climates and always garaged and well cared for so there is no rust. Current California Title is clear and Registration is good through June 2014. CARFAX report reflects no accidents. I drive this truck around town shopping, picking up supplies, driving to/from San Diego to Los Angeles.  Can't believe a patrol officer even gave me a speeding ticket said I was going 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.  Funny, as he commented how he couldn't believe a 1986 Trooper still on the road and looked so clean and complemented on my up-keep of the truck while he was writing me a speeding ticket.  I've taken this trooper on plenty of road trips when I'm solo.  But when I'm with family of course I usually drive newer vehicles that are full of creature comforts.. everyone's so use to having automatic and power everything.  So mostly this trooper (although still a daily driver) sits in my garage unless I'm using it around town. I've always gotten offers for it and even people leaving notes on my windshield if I want to sell it.  Well after four years of having fun with my Trooper I must part with it do recent divorce and now need the extra cash... yes I will cry as I've spent a lot of money on getting this trooper to look as good as it does.  The potential new owner, I know will love this Trooper because I know you've been waiting and wanting to find a WOW Trooper like mine and this is it!  Not too mention this is a perfect bug out vehicle for all you survivalist out there since this can use both diesel and bio-diesel and is EMP proof and gets great gas mileage and has plenty of cargo area for all your supplies and room for the family to head for the hills in this 4x4 one tough trooper.

Inspection: Big-O-Tires, High Tech Auto Care, Inc. and Raible from European Auto Repair have inspected and performed services for me over the past four years of my ownership. Inspection included brakes, wheels, tires, suspension, drive train, radiator, steering, undercarriage, hoses, alternator, and starter, outside of engine inspected and was test-driven. Mechanic shops states vehicle runs well and no other maintenance due at this time. Recent repairs done by Raible European Auto Repair included head gasket replacement, factory push rods, radiator repair, belts and performed both minor and major services over the past year.

IMPORTANT: This 1986 Isuzu Trooper II is in superior condition and everything works, i.e. mirrors, lights, brakes, turn signals, radio, power steering, seat belts, all terrain tires has plenty of life. The motor runs smooth and strong as it should and the 5-speed manual transmission shifts smooth. It is a 28 year old vehicle and I feel it can easily drive across state without any problems.

Engine – The engine was rebuilt in 1999 by independent mechanic with connecting rods being replaced and doesn't need any additional services at this time and is probably good for another 200,000 miles. Radiator was repaired and thermostat was replaced at that time as well. There are no extra weird noises or knocking while the motor is running other than the pure sound of diesel at work. Starts up every time off of factory glow plug system. Again, the engine is solid and runs very strong. The Trooper also starts up fine in cold weather and does not blow black smoke.

Mileage – currently 66,642 on rebuilt engine. Current original odometer reflects 221,310 miles total. This Trooper has given me an average of 26-mpg city and 30+ mpg hwy. I have been running biodiesel and regular diesel fuels off and on.

Suspension/Steering & Drive train – Solid for this four-wheel drive light SUV. This 1986 Trooper II uses Isuzu’s auto-locking hubs to change from 2 wheels to 4 wheels drive and vice versa. It is fully drivable and capable of highway speeds. Driving 55-65 MPH no problem. I've hit 75 MPH but don't recommend pushing it over 70 mph too often. Steering wheel is tight with normal play, so your not all over the road.

Body/Interior & Exterior
No accidents and no rust anywhere. Panels, Floor Boards, Rockers and everything you can think of are in great shape. The seats are original with no tears or rips. Original dashboard has no cracks which is extremely rare which is an indication that every owner has well maintained this rare 1986 Trooper turbo diesel. The windshield and glass all the way around has no cracks and no water at rubber leakage. The 2nd row seats have side rests that can be removed so that it can create a bed. Plenty of carpeted cargo space. The headliner does not sag and has no tears or rips and is very clean.

Recently Painted- “Metallic Golden Wheat” that shines beautifully. Decided to paint vehicle simply because it was due for a paint job and no other reason.

CarFax- Original Carfax report reflects clear title, no accidents or damage or rollbacks and can be emailed upon request to serious bidders

Wheels/BrakesThe brakes are near new and perform great with a lot of life left on them. It has disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. Good Year Wranglers Tires are 235/75/R15 with 70% tread life remaining.

Other features Included – Air Conditioning blows strong and cold. Heater blows strong, Front & Rear Defroster works, manual windows roll up and down, headlamps light up bright, intermittent wipers operate perfectly and water spray works, rear latch works, doors lock & unlock fine with key. Windows tints are 15% sides and rear and 35% front tint and are near new and unscratched. All exterior lamp bulbs have been replaced at same time and should wear evenly. New Jensen sound system with new Kenwood front 3way speakers and rear speakers including sub-woofers with AM/FM Stereo, CD/DVD/Mpeg 3/Navigation & Bluetooth ready (has pop out touch screen display) including back up camera ready. All interior gauges work perfectly (oil, fuel, temp, tachometer, speedometer etc). New Isuzu badges & decals.  Sharpest 1986 Isuzu Trooper around. I have records of similar Troopers have sold on eBay for more than $5500 over last 3 years that aren't in as good of care or shape as this one.  Yes you can buy a fixer for $2500 but then you'll spend another $4000 getting it to my quality even as a DIY project.  Save a headache and feel secure when bidding on this great Trooper!

On May-08-14 at 20:55:35 PDT, seller added the following information:

Shipping: Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and can range anywhere from $300 to $1000 for shipping from 92582... I think eBay has some recommended shipping companies such as www.uship  but there's plenty of companies that will bid on for your quotes.. just depends on how fast you want it and if it's on a route that happens to be a needed fill.  However vehicle can not be released until buyer's funds have cleared and firmly posted in sellers bank or PayPal.
