2004 Audi Allroad Quattro 4.2 V8

This is a hard to find piece of automotive excellence.  The V8 was only offered in these cars for two years and is considered by many to be the best powertrain ever put into the Audi.  It is a naturally aspirated 300 horsepower engine with none of the turbo problems that plagued the V6.  It has more power and gets just about the same fuel mileage.  This car is optioned up with almost all available options except for navigation. These options include heated seats in the front and rear, xenon headlights, Bose sound system and sunroof.  We have spent all the money necessary to get this car into top form.  And we have driven it for a couple months ourselves.

History

This car was purchased new in July of 2004 and has been registered in Virginia since it was new.  It has no accident history or any other problems to report.  We have the clear and clean title in hand.

Mechanical

These cars are infamous for being expensive to maintain.  We have done our best to deal with all of the issues that these cars are known to have.  So we spent over $3,000 just in parts for this car.  The work we did includes new premium brake pads and rotors all the way around, new axle shafts, new suspension air bags, new spark plugs, new valve cover gaskets, oil cooler seals, and engine mounts.  We also changed all the fluids and filters on the car including transmission fluid and filter, engine oil and filter, air filter, cabin air filter, differential fluid, and anti-freeze.  There are no warning lights or trouble codes present and everything works.  The tires are nearly new.  The air conditioning blows cold.  The only issues are that the front air bags sometimes leak down after a few days of sitting.  We have replaced the bags and the lines and it still leaks down after a couple days.  I think the problem is with the check valve at the compressor but it isn't really a big problem especially if you drive it regularly.  The instrument panel message display grows dim in hot weather, which is a common issue that these cars but doesn't affect the way it runs or operates so we didn't send it off to get it repaired.  It works fine except on hot days.

Exterior

The exterior of this car is nice and clean.  The paint is glossy and smooth. There is a ding in the rear bumper, a scuff on the right rear fender flare and a ding in the liftgate. (I have included pictures of all of this)  Other than that, the car looks great.

Interior

The interior is nice and clean.  The only issues here are the button on the center console for the trip computer is missing and the slide out cupholder cover pops off.  Also the cargo area privacy cover is missing.  We do have the spare tire, jack and tools, owners manuals, and all weather floor mats.  We only have one key/remote.

Every vehicle then passes a rigorous Virginia State Inspection by an independent mechanic.  We try to describe the vehicles as completely as possible, however if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or email us.  

Honesty and integrity are very important to us. You are encouraged to come inspect the vehicle in person before the close of the auction, or have an inspection service to do it for you.  Please call before you come as we are sometimes out of the office or have the vehicle at a different location. You are welcome to drive the vehicle before you make final payment.  If you find that the vehicle is not as it was described in the listing you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit you have paid.  This is only available if you come to our location to pick up the vehicle. If you have the vehicle shipped and wish to return it for a refund you will be responsible for the shipping charges both ways.  Your trade-ins are welcome as well.
