Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a seller will post all but the most flattering of photographs. We prefer to expose the complete roll of film taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and very striking rust free and mostly all original surviving example of this rare (only 2 year production run from 1965-66 and 1 of only 2,125 models built in '65 and 2,250 in '66) 1965 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible in its original 'Jade Firemist' color with its all original and rare 'Black' Perforated bucket seat interior with a center console and loaded with rare factory options including;

Power windows
Power vent windows
Rear fender skirts
Front cornering lights
Power steering

The 1965 Eldorado was a large luxurious Cadillac built in this particular bodystyle for only two years (1965-66) with no primary competition that could easily carry six people and had a power top, automatic level control suspension system and featured a large 429/340HP V8 engine. Only 2,250 models were built in 1966 and 2,125 were built in 1965! These were the final years of the rear wheel drive Cadillac and amongst the best of the breed. The 1965 redesign brought handsome new curved sided styling and a stronger new full perimeter frame replacing the old X-member affair, with better engine mounts, a new four link rear suspension and the improved Turbo Hydramatic drive transmission with the result being two of Cadillac's best sales years ever! With these rare mid-sixties models becoming increasingly thinned out now, these particular 1965-66 year models are now being appreciated by Cadillac enthusiasts more than ever before as an increasingly desirable and collectible and very rare Cadillac from two of its best years ever!

This particular example is a very rare and unique as a mostly all original survivor with its original Jade Firemist' (color code 96) factory paint, original Black (Trim Code 451B) Perforated factory front bucket seats with correct original black carpeting and a new Black color power soft top, its all original and beautiful real wood trim on the door panels, its original matching black factory tonneau cover and its original spare wheel and jack and original trunk compartment interior with spare wheel cover etc still all intact as in 1965! The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has no signs of any accidents - obviously an always garaged and cherished southern California car since new with one previous long time California owner since 1997!

The car has it's original matching # 429/340HP V8 engine and a thick file of physical records from 1997 to present showing that at no time was any expense spared on this particular vehicles preventive maintenance! The engine is extremely strong and powerful and sounds absolutely magnificent! This particular car also drives absolutely magnificently - it must really be seen and driven to be believed and appreciated - does not miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the car has four virtually new wide white wall tires. Please note that the car also has it's original spare wheel and tire and original jack as previously stated and all the options are working as they should including the air conditioning!

This is a rare opportunity to own a rare fully loaded and great daily driving and mostly all original and completely rust free example of a truly beautiful 1965 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible! A super striking example to boot in this classic 'Jade Firemist' color with a black leather color interior! This is the perfect car for the Cadillac enthusiast to add to any serious collection or simply a great daily driving and turn-key ready example of one very fine 1960's all American legendary classic car for any classic American classic car collector!
