NO RESERVE

Well.. its time to sell this Amazing Patina One of a Kind Rare Godfather's Pizza bug...

This Classic Rare Beetle Recently Won "THE BEST VW" at the Cruise to Colby show in 2013.

-Its an original 1960 Ragtop bug with Very Rare Semaphore turn signals.

-Originally a 40hp engine, I built and installed a 1600dp with dual Kadron carbs. Runs great! Vintage Klitz coil, clear red dist cap.

Engine was built using new parts through Cip1. New pistons, cylinders, cam, ect.. New 12 volt starter from an automatic.

-Trans raise, stainless steel firewall. 7 inch narrowed adjustable front linkpin beam with newer bushings and linkpins, rear Z spring plates.

-Chrome spotlight, chrome and stainless accessories here and there. Bamboo under-dash tray.

-New 15" Radar wheels with white/red port-a-wall white walls.

-New Ragtop material installed about a year ago, seals great. Taller luggage rack specific to ragtops.

-Barbie head antenna topper, German Beer cap opener on left fender. Vintage Metalflake glitter red steering wheel.

-Originally 6 volts but converted to 12 volts. Original rear snow-flake taillights. Original radio, not hooked up due to 6-12 volt switch.

-I have tested both semaphores and the they do work, needs bulbs.

-I have the original 15 wide 5 steel wheels with baby moon caps.

-All lights work including Headlights, taillights, brake lights, dash speedo light and license light.

-I installed new brakes on the front and rear on the driver side, but never got around to doing it on the right side.

-New brake master cylinder, new shoes, cylinders and hardware on left side.

It drives fine on the freeway. No heat! J-tubes on exhaust. One single wiper, works good with a variable speed controller.

Most the photos show no deck-lid but I do have it, I just rarely drive with it on.

Rear seat has cool cloth sheets over the springs. . Ive had the kids ride back there just fine.

Ive had this bug lowered a half inch off the ground, I raised it up a little to make it a little more practical to cruise.

The body has some rust... But its part of the whole patina look of the car. If I wanted a restored car I would have started with something else.

Floor pans are solid and were replaced years ago. Rust is lighter that carbon fiber! Ha- even have a sticker on the car that says that.

I consider this a fair weather cruiser.. I have driven it in the rain. I usually keep it garaged and cruise it on sunny days.

You could use this as a daily driver.

This bug gets a lot of attention.. I have a 68 Charger as well and this VW gets more smiles, thumbs up and stares than any car Ive ever built or owned.

Im 6'5 300lbs and believe it or not Im comfortable driving it.

Its time for me to move onto another project. Whoever ends up with this bug will have so much fun.

My friends and family are bummed im selling it.

Clear title, no joy rides! Cash in hand to drive it.

This car has a ton of character, patina and history!

PLEASE Note- I will be removing the front license plate upon sale- It was custom made For Me
