The first Ford Mustang rolled off the assembly line on March 9, 1964. On April 17, 1964, the Mustang was introduced to the public at the World’s Fair in New York. Before the day was over, Ford had secured 22,000 orders for the vehicle at dealerships across the country. As such, the Mustang was considered an instant hit with consumers.

MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this breathtaking, true Triple Black 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible from the dry state of Nevada. The car you see here is gorgeous inside and out. Finished in the correct Raven Black (Code A), this Triple Black car appears to have recently had a high quality paint job and is in excellent condition with a bright luster and only extremely subtle, minor imperfections. The chrome bumpers appear to have been re-chromed and have only minor imperfections. The black canvas convertible top is in great shape showing no notable imperfections.

We have gone and decoded the VIN and Data Plate to find that this Body Code-76B Luxury Trim Mustang 2-Door Convertible is factory correct! It was built in May of 1965 in Dearborn, Michigan. The correct C-Code 289ci V8 is under the hood and attached to a Trans 6-Code automatic transmission. It has been finished in Paint Code-A Raven Black and Trim Code-66 Black Vinyl.

Inside the Mustang, you’ll see that the interior is in great shape. The correct black Pony vinyl (Code 66) bucket seats are in great shape with no notable imperfections, as is the backseat. The carpet is black and looks great. The dash appears to be the original 1965 dashboard and is in good condition as well. Overall, this is one beautiful and exceptionally clean Mustang!

Under the hood, this Mustang has the 289 cubic inch, V8 with a 2 barrel carburetor (C Code). Pushing the ponies to the pavement is a C4 Dual Range automatic transmission, making this car a BLAST to drive! The wheels appear to be the original Mustang wheels and are wrapped in great P185/75R14 tires.

This is a gorgeous and iconic early Mustang and it would fit perfectly in any collection or as a summer driver! The VIN number is 5F08C735354 and the mileage shows 11,563. This car is being sold on a clean and clear Nevada title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
