September 1975, Jaguar introduced a completely new and radically different two door sports coupe'. A step away from the XKE from the 1960's, the XJ-S was introduced as a high performance luxury 4 place Grand Touring Coupe' to compete with the Aston Martin V8 Coupe', the Mercedes-Benz SL and the Porsche 928. Introduced in the 70's and carried on through the 80's and 90’s, the XJ-S carried Jaguar's prestigious V12 engine at the front, right up to the much anticipated launch of the official in house convertible. The XJS Convertible was an instant success and added a traditional open air motoring pleasure to the XJS lineup. The V-12 was just the right balance of power and agility with ultra rare smoothness only seen on the highest level of automobiles. The XJS continued on to be one of Jaguar’s longest lived and successful models and has become an instant classic.

European Motor Studio is proud to offer this 1991 Jaguar XJS V12 Classic Collection Coupe’ finished in Diamond Blue Metallic over Magnolia Connolly leather interior with blue piping. This XJS came out of the Coventry Browns Lane factory in February of 1991 making this XJS one of the very last Coupe’s before the face lift for model year 1992. This XJS was invoiced to Jaguar North America and sent to Scottsdale Jaguar. The car sold to its first owner in June of 1991 where the car lived in Arizona until moving to Colorado in the late 90’s. The third owner purchased the car and would take the car back and forth with him from Colorado and AZ until European Motor Studio took possession of the car. This beautiful XJS has traveled only 71,325 documented miles from brand new and has always been serviced and maintained by a Jaguar trained technician. The paint on the car shows very well and still retains a very nice metallic luster free from any fade (there are a couple small stone chips in the front nose and a very small lite scrape on the front passenger side fender right in the body line crease which is very unnoticeable). The chrome and trim all look excellent and all original, the chrome is free from any scratched or hazing and the rubber bumpers are in excellent shape and free from damage or scrapes. The chrome rail that runs above the drivers door does show a few dents but still intact. The interior looks outstanding for its age, the driver and passenger seats are free from any tears or heavy creasing and show very lite wear. All of the carpeting is original and shows very well, free from any stains or tears. The wood is all original and looks very nice, the center console ski slope does have some lite cracking as does the cubby box door. The dashboard is free from any cracks or shrinkage and looks almost new. All of the switch gear and trim looks to be in original and excellent condition. Mechanically this XJS is in beautiful condition, it starts right up and does not smoke. It idles very well and smooth free from any hesitation. The car accelerates beautifully and the transmission shifts very well, free from any clunking or slipping. The brakes feel solid and free from any noise or fading. The suspension is very tight and precise as well as the steering. This XJS does not appear to be leaking any fluids after sitting in the same spot for a couple days and does not smoke at idles or under acceleration. The tires are almost brand new without about 85%-90% tread life left. The wheels are the original Jaguar lattice style chome wheels and in beautiful condition. All of the electrical on the car appears to be in excellent working order, the taillights, brake lights, turn signals, side marker lights, reverse lights, headlights, interior lights and dash lights are all working. The original Jaguar Alpine radio is still intact and in working condition (the power antenna does not appear to be working). The AC is blowing very cold and the heater is blowing out warm. The car does come with front heated seats which appear to be in wokring order. This car comes with an original Jaguar cut master key, its original spare tire and jack, original owners manuals and warranty books in their original leather case. This XJS comes with a free and clear Box A title and a completely clear carfax.
