Up for sale we have a 1979 Pontaic Trans Am. This is a Y84 car so it’s a factory black car with the tan interior and gold dash and wheel. We have the build sheet with this. It has the matching # engine with 79K miles on it along with the factory exhaust hat still has the sock converter in it. In the paragraphs to follow we will give you a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Pontiac, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. We will start off with the exterior of the Trans Am. The body is as straight as an arrow. All the lines are good along with all the gaps being great. The fit and finish of the trim is very good. This is a factory T Top car that seal well with no leaks. It has the correct spoilers and trim along with the shaker hood. As we said this is a factory Starlite Black car that has a deep rich shine. The paint is accented by the correct Gold bird and Trim. The final exterior touch is the set of correct Honey Comb Wheels with the gold accent and a set of BF Goodrich Tires.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’79. Everything is as it wars when new. It has the tan cloth seat covers with vinyl door panels. Also it has the factory headliner and carpet. When you look at the dash it’s all correct with only an upgraded JVC Cd player. It has tilt wheel with the correct steering wheel and yes the horn does work. To keep everything as it should it still has the working Power Windows.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Pontiac. Under the hood it’s all stock with the matching # 403 V8 and automatic Trans. When you look at the pictures you will see that look like it did in ’79 with all the hoses and tubes in place. It has the factory AC along with Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. The exhaust is correct even down to the stock converter. When you look at the floor pans and frame rails they all look very solid and in great shape.

This is a rare find and a beautifully keep car. Also, this car runs out and drives out every bit as good as it looks.
