This fantastically weird and wonderful VW Type 181, or better known as a Volkswagen Thing, is fresh off a recent restoration and is ready to have loads of fun with its new owner. It is a two owner car, and has been owned here in NC since 1978 when the second owner bought it. We have an extensive amount of records and history on this vehicle. It has been a garaged, "fun" vehicle for the last 35 years! It was only offered in the US for two years, 1973 & 1974. It's powered by a 1600cc Flat 4-cylinder and is mated with a 4-speed manual transmission. No rust, no issues, no worries! All you need to do is drive it and answer the question, "What is this thing?"
