1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible. FRAME-OFF RESTORATION. SEE VIDEO

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible

If you are looking for one of the finest '55 Bel Air Convertibles in the world, this is it.

This rust-free, matching numbers car received a full frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration by Patrick's Classy Cars in Phoenix, Arizona - one of the top Chevrolet specialists in the country. No expense was spared to make this a high-point, concours-quality car that also drives and operates like new. Since the restoration it has traveled just 783 miles, mostly to shows where it has garnered awards, including "Best In Class" at the Forest Grove, Oregon Concours d'Elegance, one of the premiere shows in the west, known for tough competition among high-caliber Tri-5 Chevys. One look at the photos and video will show you why this car excels.

The car is highly-optioned, including:

Original rebuilt 265 V-8 Power Pak Engine • Rebuilt Powerglide Automatic Transmission • Power Steering • Power Brakes • Continental Spare Tire Kit • Dual Outside Mirrors • Correct Date Coded Glass • Door Handle Shields • Tissue Dispenser • Electric Windshield Wipers • Frotn and Rear Bumper Guards • Gravel Shields • Push Button Radio • Deluxe Heater • Back-up Lights • Electric Clock (works!) • and much, much more.

Mechanically, it is like new. The engine runs perfectly, does not smoke or have any bad habits. You can eat off of the engine bay, it is that clean. Again, please see the photos and video. The transmission shifts perfectly. It is a pleasure to drive. The power top is also like new and works perfectly without hesitation.

The body is laser-straight and completely rust-free. Finished in the correct Gypsy Red/Shoreline Beige color combination (Code# 615S), the paint is flawless. The interior (Trim code#525) is beige and red vinyl which is also flawless. The chrome and stainless is exceptional. The undercarriage is as clean and detailed as the top of the car. Truly concours quality and ready to show or go.

Any other superlatives I could add would be repetitious. I have seen many '55 Chevrolets. I will say without hesitation that this is one of the finest in the world today. The reserve is realistic, but not outrageous. Quality of this level does not come cheap. If this car were sent to one of the high-profile auction houses you would expect to pay tens of thousands of dollars more than what the reserve is here. (And don't forget - No 10% auction-house buyer's premium!)

If you want the best, this is it.

WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS, WORLDWIDE.

Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
