This 1957 Chevrolet Belair 2-door Hardtop has had the same owner for more than 35 years.  Originally from Colorado, this Belair was brought to Indiana in the late 1970's where it was garaged ever since.  It has a stock 283 power pack V-8,  4-barrel carburator, and automatic transmission.  This '57 Belair has never been taken apart or modified!  Believed to be 73k actual miles; this car starts, runs, drives and shifts very good.  Power steering and power brakes.  Factory sheet metal is all very solid.  One repaint many years ago.  All body lines are extremely straight.  The doors close with very little effort.   The under body, floor pans, trunk, braces and mounts are all very solid, no thin metal, just light surface rust only, No holes anywhere.  All original mouldings and chrome have some pitting.  Factory interior.  Heater, blower motor, glove box light, cigarette lighter, gas gauge, temperature gauge, speedometer, odometer, and windsheild wipers are all in working order.  Emergency brake, brake lights and power steering work well.  Brake lines and fuel lines are original to the car and are not thin, very solid.  Need some brake work and carburator needs rebuilt... Has a small exhaust leak.  This car is rare and hard to find in this original condition,  you won't be disappointed.
